Chingu Coffee

What an amazing coffee shop. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had in the KC area. They roast onsite. Atmosphere is great and just off the Plaza. The staff were friendly and attentive. Plenty of space to sprawl out and get some work done or sit and talk in a very comfy sofa or chairs.

Love Chingu! The coffee always hits (their seasonal menus are amazing!). They get their bakery items from Blackhole Bakery (absolutely amazing) and their in house goods is always delicious as well. You can't go wrong here 🙂

It’s my third visit here and baristas make good coffees/drinks here. I also recommend gilgeori toast! Only downside is parking is somewhat hard to find on the street but it’s worth it 🙂

Great little spot! Busy but the food and coffee came out fast. The seasonal crème brûlée latte was delicious and the burrito was great!

I did not try their food. I had an oat milk latte with mocha flavoring. The coffee flavor is rich and delicious. The mocha flavor was tasty, but absolutely not at all overwhelming, so the coffee is able to shine. Not overly sweet. Highly recommend!

Friend Coffee by another name. Stopped in this delightful coffee shop. I was in the area looking for coffee on Google and this popped up nearby. Saw the name "Chingu" and wondered if it was a Korean themed or owned shop. I was pleasantly surprised it was. I ordered a hot caramel latte and a toasted sesame bagel. It was pricier than I was expecting. The total was around $11.50 for the two items. I asked the cheerful barista if this was a Korean shop because of the name to which she affirmed it was. Then I started to notice the Hanguel (Korean script) around the place. Having lived in Korea for several years I’m always open to check out a Korean owned place. Will be going back again to try something else and I want to check out their restaurant as well.

4.5 stars. Coffee is done well. Sandwiches are unique. The sauces for the sandwiches steal the show. Little cafe but has plenty of seating. Fast excellent WiFi!
