My daughter has been attending Rising Sun for a year now. Coach Neil is fantastic with kids! I am so thrilled watching my daughter grow in coordination but also focus and resiliency. Students learn more than martial arts at Rising Sun. They learn valuable, real-life skills such as perseverance, commitment, responsibility, respect, self-confidence, leadership, and good sportsmanship all while having an absolute blast. My daughter has her eyes set on that black belt and Coach Neil along with the other coaches know how to motivate kids to stick with it and achieve their goals! We could not be happier!

We love Raising Sun Martial Arts! The Coaches are all so positive with my son that is on the spectrum. They are all very encouraging, positive, and patient with the younger kids. My son is engaged and request to go back to martial arts on his days off. He receives one on one coaching with his class and is bringing home the discipline that he has learned. He loves all the new techniques and most of all the obstacle course. My daughter is also watching the class and copies everything they are doing. When she is of age she will definitely want to sign up.

We absolutely love Rising Sun Martial Arts! Our son has been in their martial arts program for three years now, and his progress has been amazing. He has developed so much in terms of coordination, confidence, and leadership. As a family with Filipino roots, we also appreciate that this program helps him stay connected to his cultural heritage while learning valuable martial arts skills. Through his training, he’s learned respect, confidence, grit, teamwork, and integrity. The "Yes I Can" attitude he has developed here has benefited him in all aspects of life. Our son loves Rising Sun so much that he had his most recent birthday party there. His friends had an incredible time. They got to break boards while our son got to cut his birthday cake with a sword! My daughter isn’t enrolled in the martial arts classes, but she loves their Parents’ Nite Out events- fun activities, dinner, and great supervision at a very reasonable price. Both my kids have also attended their Summer Camps, where they learned new skills and had a blast. My 9 year old twins have been attending Rising Sun for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love it! The classes are fun, fast-paced and also promote listening and respect. The skills they are learning are building their confidence. They even built their own "Bob" so they could practice at home 😂. Highly recommend for high energy and shy kids alike.

The classes are small and intimate, which allows the instructors to be truly engaged and attentive with each student. Our son genuinely looks forward to every class. He’s made friends with other kids his age, stays active, and has an absolute blast— especially on the obstacle course, his favorite! My daughter, Clare, loves Rising Sun! She is so excited to move up to the teen class after 3 years of hard work. The coaches all encourage her to keep going and instill and teach the discipline that is required to reach that black belt.
