Korean Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis

The Reflection English Ministry at KPCI that meets for Sunday service at 11:30 AM is a welcoming and vibrant multi-cultural church family. Over the past three years, I have witnessed steady growth in our community, that new members and families can call KPCI their home church whether attending in-person or remotely due to career or school transfer. Our English service is led by Rev. Paul Ye In Park along with a supportive pastoral leadership. His scripture-based sermons and solid biblical theology deepen our understanding of God and the Bible. Our congregation primarily consists of young to middle-aged professionals in their 20s to 40s, encompassing a mix of singles and married couples and their children.

I've been attending 2nd service which is in English at 1130am. This service is intended for families and young adults and growing. Warm welcoming, beautiful praise and worship, scripture based & lead by the Associate Pastor Reverend Paul Park. Also, I'm thankful that when I look around I see people of all different ages and different ethnicities/races. Following the service is a warm sharing of a meal and fellowship. I can appreciate that there's an affordable Korean Language program for not only kids but adults.

One of the many Korean churches in Indy. This church has been established for more than 40 years. As an international student, currently studying at IU Indy's Professional Grad school, I wanted to attend a church where I get to feel home and also get to speak in my native language (Korean). It is great that I get to speak both Korean and English at this church, depending on whom I get to associate with. A great way to not forget and practice my native language (Korean). I typically attend the EM (English Service) because I like to get to know the local Korean-Americans to local Americans and multi-generational and multi-cultural attendees who attend the English service. I chose this church specifically because of the fact that I get two options for service: 1) attend 10 am service for Korean service (*for those, who only understand English, can request for a translating gadget and still attend this 10 am service if it suits their time better) and/or 2) attend 11:30 am English service. Being a typical "Korean Church," lunch is served after the service. Another merit that made me want to come to this church over others. Also, as an interntional student, without a car, getting to and from downtown to church has been a hassle. Thus, when I was provided a ride to church and back to downtown, I had to choose this church over others.

Welcoming and definitely a place you can feel a love and reverence for God. ❤️ I am excited to go back!
