Cajun's Fabulous Fried Chicken

Cajun's never disappoints! An absolute must when visiting from Illinois. Everything was delicious. They keep the buffet fully stocked, once something gets low they're preparing the next batch of food. Absolutely love the vintage vibe this restaurant gives. A true gem. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If given the chance you need to stop for some chicken and the buttery mashed potatoes 😍🍗

Cajun’s is an absolute classic icon straight out of the 1980’s. Homestyle cooking as southern as it gets. The only reason I can’t give five stars is two employees were discussing their time in prison very loudly in the dining room, while guests were attempting to enjoy a meal. It definitely took down the feel of the restaurant and made it feel a bit dumpy.

Let me tell you about this place..... AMAZING. It's like a portal in time to the glorious late 80s early 90s with good, real, home cooked food. Everything I tried on the line was awesome. The ice cream machine sounded like a 79s Mac truck and it put out the best soft serve I have had in a long time. McDonald's can't even keep one running. Perfect perfect spot for an easy home cooked meal fast. Great value too. $18 you can stuff your face, as much as you want, all while the staff takes total care of you and get a drink. Dessert included. I got up for a new plate and was handed one before I even asked. A+

The food tasted pretty good, and since it is a buffet, there are plenty of options. It actually reminded me quite a bit of Popeyes. The place is always packed and busy, which seems like a good sign.

The buffet was good and the people were nice. They were very helpful with a smile.

Y’all need to get it together. Was there with my spouse at 5:30 we literally waited 20 minutes for chicken breasts. There was 11 people waiting on chicken breasts. Y’all finally put them out and one of your workers immediately goes over there and takes all the breasts out of the chicken pan to give them to someone ordering at the counter!! a big white container full of Breasts the workers saw they line of people that have already paid and was waiting on their food/chicken to come out, You shouldn’t allow no one to come and take all the chicken breast after you see yall already had 11 people waiting in line for chicken breasts either that or when y’all are out of chicken stop letting people in and stop taking their money. This has been going on long enough..When it’s 530 keep pumping out chicken don’t sit there and say we’re not frying no more chicken for 11 minutes. It’s prime time for dinner!! What the hell is that!!!! Another thing was this older lady ate her whole meal without any chicken. She kept asking for chicken. They kept giving it out. I watched that poor lady finally give up and go get dessert and leave. That’s ridiculous. That woman should’ve got her piece of chicken. That’s all she wanted,!! where is the respect for your elders!! 39$ for two buffets with drink to wait for chicken the majority of the time we was there!! You know that’s the deal. It’s a fried chicken buffet you assume there’s gonna be hot chicken ready at all times!!!

Food was decent, the only problem was they don’t accept credit card payments and also don’t offer a military/veteran or senior discount despite being a military town. Will not come back when in the area again.
