Career and Technical Education Center

The Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education center is a go-to fantastic place to learn useful trade skills if you’re an eligible Frisco ISD school student. Classes offered here include Culinary Arts, Forensics Sciences, Engineering, among many others. I highly recommend this place to get a head start in your career right out of high school.

Despite being over a decade old, the facility looks new and very modern. They have a wide variety of classes catering to those that want to be shop workers, lawyers, florists, computer engineers, etc. There is even an advanced Esports class with good lighting and computer set up. Around the middle and where you enter, there are a limited number of tables and seats for those who have lunch. The advanced culinary class operates a cafeteria and bakery. When I was there for 2024-2025, they had a deal offering three boxes of sweets for only $5. A convenience store selling items is available too, but I never ventured in there. The only things negative are that there is way too much strictness regarding headphones, something that a lot of other campuses don’t throw a fit over. Another thing I disliked is how car drivers were unfairly treated. For some reason this center will try to penalize you through tardies for driving even if you make it on time or before bus riders. The campus has no right to dictate an 18 year old’s usage of their personal vehicles.

This place is so strict they don't let you wear headphones and i bought some chicken alfredo from the CTE bakery and yet this teacher took it up and wont give it back this is injustice. Never sign up for classes her you will literally get cancer from it. This place robbed me of $5 by taking away my alfredo i hope the teacher who did this writes me an apology letter.

Really cool place to learn Tech Ed and other stuff you’re passionate about.

Great place for kids to learn Tech Ed.
