Kreimer's Karate Institute Inc

A very successful and dedicated family karate center. My children have been continuing their education here since 2021. We were living in Urbana before Kreimer's and they were getting another karate training. I know that children are more impatient and want to progress much faster. I must admit, I am very pleased.🙏🏻 They really keep that discipline just right. A good education also requires rules and effort. Dedication is everything. I can see very well how my young children, whose age groups are different, view karate and sports branches in about 3,5 years, along with their natural development processes.

This place is amazing!! The instructors are patient and observant. They have a way of letting you know that you are doing it wrong without feeling singled out or silly. My son started there 2 months ago, he convinced me to join, and my daughter just started this week. It is a wonderful experience together to share as a family. Kreimer's really understand how important family is. Mr Adam and Mr Scott seem to have endless knowledge, energy, and patience and Ms Linda always meets you with a smile. I am so thankful that I found this place!!

Having our grandson take karate lessons at Kreimer’s has been the most wonderful and rewarding experience for him and for us. He told us that he wished that we should have started him when he was five years old! Linda’s kindness and compassionate attitude to the kids and adults are admirable. Adam’s and his staff’s dedication and expertise are commendable. They are amazing role models for the students!!!

This is a really awesome Karate institute that teaches real karate and has a great respect for the martial art. This is a family owned and operated business. They show how important family is by offering big family discounts that no other place in town seems to offer. Not to mention the price without the family discount is already reasonable. They don't expect you to sign up for lengthy contracts, as everything is month to month. Ms. Linda is always friendly and is always available to answer questions during classes. Mr. Adam is great with our kids and our kids have very different personalities. They really care about the student. Class doesn't feel like a commercial like it does at other places we tried. The instructors focus on the student and not selling something to the parents. They do not push tournaments, belt tests, or board breaking. Other costs are very limited and reasonable for weapons and when the student is ready for the belt test. Belt tests here are about 30% of the cost as other places I know. I would give this place 10 stars if it would let me. If you are looking for a Karate place, then look no further, as this is the place to come to.

When my son was 5 he expressed a interest in martial arts. I was excited for the physical aspect of it, but also for the potential help in his focus as he had been having a few issues in school. I searched all over town for the right fit, but I kept getting frustrated by the outrageous membership fees, or that lack of interest on behalf of the instructors. They seemed only interested in money and promoting my child thru funding rather than rigor. Finally, we found Kreimers karate. Gabriel has been a member for a little over 3 years now and he LOVES air there. He gets a variety of instructors, all of whom are strict but fair... and always truly committed to the students needs and education. He looks up to all of them now with the highest regard an 8 year old can muster. The pricing is truly reasonable... and the atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. If you have ever considered participating yourself (for any reason - and they have such a variety of offerings), please consider visiting. I highly recommend!

Wonderful staff and instructors who show patience with the young students and provide a welcoming and friendly learning environment. They offered many opportunities during the COVID shutdown to keep my son engaged virtually, which provided a hint of weekly normalcy amid the quarantine. I highly recommend.
