Fort Worth Japanese Society

I absolutely love this place. The people here are so friendly and kind. I've always felt welcome, even when I was new. The Society offers monthly luncheons, which serves food normally cooked in-house. Each month has a theme and you get to celebrate Japanese holidays. I've had the pleasure of taking Japanese lessons at their language school and it was such a positive experience! The classes aren't easy, but every sensei I've had took their time to make sure we received quality lessons. They are all excellent teachers and I enjoyed my time with them so much. The Society also puts a lot of work into the Japanese Spring and Fall Festivals at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens every year, so please go support them if you can! This is a great organization, aimed at teaching people about the Japanese culture and I look forward to what they do next.

Fun group! Great food! Interesting conversations! Especially loved the rice balls and shaved ice with matcha topping!!

Participated in my first obento pick up this fall. Looking forward to everything opening back up so that I can fully participate in the club activities. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. (This event happened in September 2021 I didn't realize my review was in draft mode until today when I posted it.)

Always good company and a wonderful experience learning and eating. If you are interested in getting involved with Japanese culture or the botanic garden Japanese festival, this is the place. Everyone always so nice.
