Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Unknown to me Swedish Fish Italian Ice doesn't sell well at this particular location so it's rarely offered. I was however able to talk to the Manager Sofia and she agreed to make me a fresh gallon i could purchase for my house. Im really happy about this and I'll absolutely be doing this again, and again and again.

The woman that took care of us in the drive-thru was kind and efficient! Went at 7:00-ish pm and there was no line. The Gelati options are sooo good, I got the coconut cream ice cream option. Recently moved to the area, will be coming again!

Excellent Italian ice and custard, tons of flavors and mix and matches, staff was busy so so pleasant, helpful and happy! Highly recommend. But watch the parking.

We used to go to Rita’s all the time in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida. Consistently good from location to location. We stopped here an hour before closing and as others have mentioned they were out of several flavors. Not the end of the world. A suggestion to avoid having customers be let down cause their favorite flavor ran out would be to use a digital display menu that can easily be changed as menu items run out for the day. The locked flavors of the day board outside does not make it easy to make changes quickly. Just my 2 cents. My wife was and I both got our favorite Gelati. It was delicious and presentation was great. We both got a large and we both agreed that next time a medium will be fine as the large is really generous in size. The two girls working did a good job of handling the late night rush to get custard. I’m not going to complain about paying $5.50 for a large Gelati. Food is expensive these days everywhere. Rita’s is a treat for us and we enjoy it 🙂

I visited this location on 0n 10/04 at about 8:20pm, and the rude lady at the drive thru was extremely unpleasant and condescending. I waited for almost 20 minutes, for her to tell me to proceed to the window because she "couldn’t hear what I was ordering", I get to the window and she said "uh huh, what else do you want", without even letting me order what "she couldn’t hear" when I initially got to the speaker. I refused to give my money to someone that will treat customers with such a nasty attitude. Instead of arguing with the customers, she should be working on improving her customer service skills, as this is the field she is choosing to work in.

If I could give this a minus one I would. First of all the drive-thru is a nightmare and blocks the entrance from oncoming and outgoing traffic by the light. We waited online for almost 10 minutes for the one person to get done. We finally walked away because that same customer said they don't even have half of what they have on the board. And it was only 7:00 at night. By the time we drove away the same guest was still at the window. I don't even want to start on how dirty the place looked. Some employees weren't even in uniforms. Just an overall horrible experience. My suggestion try someplace else. UPDATE we gave them another shot. They did pave the plaza so it looks good. But 1 custard machine wasn't working. And the other 1 only had vanilla. 1 girl working drive-thru AND walk up. Forget about it.

Delicious italian ices. So many flavors. Outdoor seating if you like. Super friendly staff. No sugar flavor if you need that. Conveniently located.
