KON GEN INTERNATIONAL PRESCHOOL

I visited Kon Gen International Daycare to inquire about 4K availability, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The front desk staff was very unfriendly, and the older woman who opened the door made me feel extremely uncomfortable—there was no friendliness or welcoming attitude at all. For young children’s education, I believe it’s very important that the school environment feels warm and supportive, starting with the staff. Sadly, this was not the case here. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this school based on my visit.

Our daughter just graduated from Kon Gen this month, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. It’s been amazing to watch how much she has grown over the past school year—both academically and personally. The end-of-year production was truly a labor of love, beautifully put together by the dedicated faculty and enthusiastic students. We feel the school has prepared her very well for kindergarten, with a strong foundation and a thoughtful focus on Asian culture and traditions. While some parents have concerns about parking, we’ve found that KonGen handles it as smoothly as possible. There’s always a staff member stationed at the front door to assist with quick drop-offs, and the school also offers extended hours for added flexibility with pick-up and drop-off times. No school is perfect, but KonGen comes pretty close. We loved our experience here and highly recommend it to families in the community!

I did not know what to expect when sending my child here. After touring the school and talking with administrators, I was confident that they would do a good job. The teachers and support staff are always friendly and the kids have lots of learning activities throughout the day. There is early drop-off and afterschool. I was always invited to come to the school for parent/child projects and my child was always smiling going in and leaving the school. Neat and organized, nothing is rushed. Thank you for looking after my kid Kon Gen!

This was the greatest experience for my daughter from the first moment they made me feel very welcome everyone there is very professional and kind !!!! Thanks to them my daughter got the services she needed faster they help her so much during this 2 years. I was so excited for my daughter to start at this school for 3k. I went to the school just to check it out with my daughter hoping for a welcome and a little confidence that she will be alright. I spoke to the directer and she kept evaluating my girl and telling me she looks like she needs help and might do better in a smaller setting of kids. It felt as if she was telling me my daughter wouldn’t fit into their school. I work at a preschool and we had kids that had their moments of tantrums, hitting, bitting but we never made the parents feel as if their child wouldn't fit, it was our job to make sure their kids were safe and hoping to see them succeed and thrive. I walked out that day after the conversation with the director of the school devastated, after waiting with excitement for her approval to this school.

I am impressed by the quality and standards at Kon Gen. My son graduated from this school last year and currently is advanced in his Kindergarten class. His teacher says I should put him in a gifted program. But I think its due to his foundation at Kon Gen that made him "brighter" than his current peers. My 3 year old daughter attends Kon Gen now, and her teacher and her assistant are amazingly attentive and encourage my daughter to grow (ie: I wanted to have my daughter wear pull-ups, but they encourage me to resist for fear my daughter might regress). This type of suggestion implies not only care but the ability to understand the importance of meeting developmental milestone.

This was a very good school with amazing teachers and staff. I usually never trusted my kids in any daycare or school, however Kongen really put my mind at ease and they cared for my son so well, he still loves to visit and say hi to everyone. My son attended at this school about 3 years ago.
