Duer's ATA Martial Arts

My son has been going to Duer’s ATA for about 4 months now and not only is he having fun, he is learning a lot of discipline and his confidence is improving. After the first class, everyone knew him by name and it really speaks to the involvement of the instructors. They include older students in his class which means they work in smaller groups allowing for more focused one on one time in class. His focus has improved in school and he is always looking forward to class! If you are on the fence about signing up your kids, you won’t regret it!

We recently joined this taekwondo studio, and it has been such a wonderful experience for our family! My 5-year-old son absolutely loves coming to class — he’s excited every single time. The instructors are incredibly patient, encouraging, and great with young kids. They make learning fun while still teaching discipline, respect, and confidence. We’ve already noticed how proud he feels of himself after each class. We’re so happy we found this place and highly recommend it to any family looking for a positive, energizing activity for their child!

I've known Master Duer for over 30 years. I have been his student and friend, he both a talented martial artist and instructor. His school is a respected institution in Eugene.

I've been training here for about three years now, and I'm consistently impressed by the instructors' extensive knowledge and patience with their students. I thoroughly enjoy the collaborative learning environment, where we work together as a team to master new skills. The instructors do an outstanding job of preparing us for real-life situations, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail – a crucial aspect of effective self-defense. 🙂

My daughter decided that she wanted to learn some Taekwondo and is absolutely in love with it. She is 6. It’s engaging, fun, and provides her skills that will help her grow in to a better version of herself. Duer’s came highly recommended by a friend who once worked here. The kids clearly have a wonderful community and feel a great deal of support here. I am really glad my kiddo gets to be a part of this experience.

This place has been amazing for my son. His self confidence has continued to grow every year. The skills he has learned extend so much further then just in the gym.

Master Duer and the rest of the staff there are amazing. Three of my children go there and all of them love it and are not only learning taekwondo, but they are learning great skills and accountability. We have been using the star charts to help with behavior at home and I have never seen my sons so interested in helping with chores. I have recommended Duer Martial Arts to many families and will continue to.
