German Language Services of San Diego

My son attended GLS of San Diego for several years and I recommend Ms. Heinz without reservation. He was given the opportunity to not only learn to speak German but to read it, write it, and use it on a trip to Germany. She was encouraging, engaging, professional, and creative in how she taught. He not only received credit for the courses at Canyon Crest Academy high school but he passed the proficiency tests at university. This is a great school and she is a wonderful teacher.

Highly recommend GLS - my kids are learning German with Frau H. and doing very well. She is extremely flexibly and caring, responsive and helpful. My son has an IEP and she has been very open to working with us in the approach to German for him. We are not native speakers and her teaching is just right for us. She has been able to motivate them to keep up their work throughout the week & add to their German skills. Great resource!

I took German lessons with Antje for a few months. I’m an adult and she made the scheduling and learning very easy for me! She was always very kind and made me feel comfortable practicing a new language. Highly recommend if you’re looking to learn German!

You won't learn much German here. The coordinator doesn't match up students to tutors well.
