Lindamood-Bell Elmhurst Learning Center

Our time with Lindamood-Bell was nothing short of life-changing for our family. Most of the Seeing Stars program was done online, and then our child finished the last few weeks in person. Even through a computer screen, the instructors kept the lessons fun, engaging, and perfectly matched to how our child learns. When we moved to in-person sessions, it brought everything together. Meeting face-to-face gave our child a real connection with the teachers and helped solidify all the progress he had made online. The team truly understood our child—his sensory needs, his anxiety, and what kept him motivated. They adjusted things along the way, always listening to us and making sure he felt supported and confident. The teachers weren’t just skilled—they were kind, patient, and genuinely invested in his success. The sensory-based approach made learning click in a way nothing else ever had, and the progress he made was not only huge but lasting. The Learning Center is an amazing experience. At first, we were apprehensive that the rigorous daily summer sessions would be overwhelming for our daughter but she woke up on her own every morning excited to go learn. The teachers and staff made her feel special and she graduated with not only improved skills but a personal confidence we had never seen. Thank you to everyone who inspired our daughter this summer!

We came to Lindamond Bell Center in Elmhurst to evaluate my 10 year old son for his reading difficulties. Alan director of the Center was very attentive and informative about evaluation process and all other steps. Also Mr.Connor is an amazing teacher , because he did the great job on evelauating Him and make it fun for my son. I was asked by my son if we can comeback to Lindamond Bell because it was so much fun. I also want to highly acknoledge Danielle who is an amazing and very detailed oriented in relations with parent and helpful in anyway. Thank You Linamond Bell.

Our son loved studying at LindaMoodBell center. He experienced friendliness and care from staff, made instant friends with the Academy students, and felt supported by the tester and therefore confident in his abilities. Great experience! We just wish there would be some poster in the window or sign on the building with company’s name on it. We worked in education for over 20 years but never heard of LMB before.

This school absolutely changed the course of education for my child. Lindamood Bell replaced our nightly homework arguments and long mornings trying to get out of school into a completely different process. The teachers have patience and I didn't know existed.

Overall, the Learning Center team was friendly and kind. Most importantly, both of our children did not mind going for a four hour program and upon pick up, they were happy and laughing. With that being said, combined with the confidence and literacy skills gained over the program, we could not be happier.
