El Monte-Rosemead Adult School

This is not a community college, but El Monte-Rosemead Adult School has fewer students. They offer a few classes, like business, office, ESL, and medical stuff. I first enrolled here in 2019, took my General Office Clerk courses with Mrs. Wall, and finished not long after CV hit the following year. Overall, highly recommended. Along with supportive staff, the class sizes are smaller and the teachers seem happy to be there. I always had questions; Mrs. Wall answered all of them patiently. At the end of the day, I wish they offered more variety in their courses! I'd like that!

I was intimidated at first when I registered for the CNC Machinist program because I felt it would be difficult to learn and more of a male dominant industry for a female. But I was wrong and I was very happy to have taken this course with Mr. Mora. With a history as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace industry I wanted to learn more and be capable of earning better income in the future. Thanks to Mr. Mora I was able to understand every step of learning the programming part of this course and the hands on practice in set up of real CNC Vertical HAAS machines, Bridgeport Knee Mill machines. One thing I would suggest for the school is that it would be beneficial if they would incorporate a 5-axis machine program in the near future 🙂 Thank you Mr. Mora for your patience and sharing your knowledge and experience in CNC Machining and programming and helping us students and others as well. I definitely recommend the CNC Machining program to anyone who'd want to advance in the growing manufacturing industry, including us women. 😀

Mr. Garcia is the best teacher hands down. I’m so glad I got to be apart of his class he’s an amazing instructor and teaches great. I wish I was able to stay in his class longer. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Not only was he an amazing instructor but the class mates were just as amazing.

The CNC machine shop class is great for someone wants a new technical skill and get a a job fast, great for newly immigrants. Mr. Mora has 35-year teaching experience, and has many contacts, reference in the industry , you can't go wrong with his class.

The staff are very nice but the teacher isn’t. I had my first ESL class with a teacher named Sandra Gomez and she was really strict. Pls be careful when choosing a school or a teacher

This school is great, affordable classes and great teachers. I took the E.K.G course it was a great class. I came out with a good understanding of the course. The instructor is Mr. Garcia, the man knows his stuff and has great ways of passing on the knowledge to his students. The only downside is that the course was over before I knew it. In all honesty, Mr. Garcia he has a way of getting one to understand the concepts. Tip review after class and ask questions when you don't understand something.

Ms. Nguyen is a very kind and approachable teacher.She is patient, caring, and full of love. She makes her students feel comfortable and truly cared for.I am very grateful to have her as my teacher. 💛🌼
