James Martial Arts Academy

My son will be turning 7, and thought it's time for him to explore a sport. After offering several options, he opted for martial arts. We signed up for several trial classes with different methods, but none he seemed too excited about. After his trial at JM Arts Academy, I instantly saw the spark in his eye and said to me, "this one mom! I like this one". Sifu's are fun, they connect with the children but still implementing respect and authority!

My son doesn’t like sports. We went to (no exaggeration) 7 different dojos. BJJ, MMA, etc. The James martial arts academy is the first Dojo he has ever been to, that he expressed excitement to go. This place is awesome

James Martial Arts Academy is one of the best decisions we've ever made for our kids. The classes go far beyond just teaching them some martial arts - they have helped them with confidence, respect, and determination. Sifu Darryl is an incredible mentor and leader and we couldn't be more grateful for the influence he is becoming in our kids lives. He is extremely kind, patient, yet FIRM and pushes the kids in a way that truly serves their best interests. He's a wonderful human being and an amazing martial arts instructor! He, as well as the other instructors here, clearly care so much about the kids they teach and it shows beyond a doubt. You and your kids will love being part of his programs!

NatalieFimpel (orange belt) :Here at James Martial Arts Academy it’s like a home to me I’ve always felt safe. For the past 4 years i've been here and he always welcomes everyone new and always has a positive mindset. We have fun, while still making us learn the materials we need to keep us safe for ourselves, family and friends .Sufi has always been there for me even when I left and he has gotten me back on track. I love Sufi with all my heart and he has been the greatest role model for me till this day.

When looking for a karate class for our 7 yr old, we were so lucky to have found James Martial Arts Academy. Sensei Sifu brings the best of vibes and the kids have so much fun while learning at the same time. He knows how to talk to them in a way they understand and is able to control a class full of students with a lot of energy by redirecting them very easily. Very pleased and lucky to be here!

Our 5 yr old started a month ago and he absolutely loves coming to karate! Sifu is amazing with the kids! Every class is different and filled with energy. The kids have a blast! We are so happy we signed up and our son enjoys it. We highly recommend James Martial Arts Academy!
