Chang's Yong-In Martial Arts (Taekwondo School)

Love this place! I studied in Korea and am so happy I found this dojong for my boys here in the states. Great teaching staff!!!

I was hesitant at first, as it is a rather large weekly commitment of time and finances. However, watching my kindergartener thrive over the past four months has made it completely worth it! I highly recommend Chang’s to all, especially to parents struggling with kids that may be a little more neurodiverse / ADHD. The change in demeanor as far as gratitude, self confidence, discipline, and overall growth has been truly remarkable. The instructors are phenomenal and really make the classes feel like a community.

Amazing location and excellent instructors. All instructors are kids friendly and very attentive to their learning needs. My son is gaining confidence, encourage to do his best always and having fun with friends in a positive environment. If you are looking for physical and mental challenges, try a class with our great instructors. It's a really good location and I have met a really good group of friends here.

The absolute best!! My 8-year-old has taken classes at Chang's for over a year and completely loves it! The strength that she has at 8 is incredible. But Chang's also provides focus and discipline teachings through their classes. My daughter loves everything about taking taekwondo lessons...she would go every day if she could. Can't recommend them enough!

We toured several martial arts schools before landing here. They are by far the best- high quality instruction at an affordable price. We also love that they are a traditional martial arts school so it is much more than just learning techniques. Instructors are also great with kids too!

Chang’s Yong-In Martial Arts is the best place for all age groups to come and learn martial arts! Not only does this school teach martial arts, it comes with the complete package for training, education, mental and physical development. It allows individuals to expand their skills and knowledge both in and outside of the school. All the instructors are passionate instructors who use positive reinforcement and pays attention to details to help their students succeed. My daughter started lessons here before COVID and loved it. We took a break and started her back up in December 2021 at age 6. Even after all that time the instructors recognized her. This dojang is more than a place to learn a martial art. It is a place to develop your whole self and an opportunity to be a part of a special community. If you're a parent, it's a place to have a partner in parenting. I cannot sing enough praises for the instructors. If you watch them, you can see their passion for what they do. If you've ever thought of giving Tae Kwon Do a try, this is a wonderful place to check out.
