Daytona Beach International Airport

It’s definitely on a much modern side, nice and small with 5 gates, and 4 airline partners. However, you know Embry-Riddle and 4 other flight schools operate at the airport too, therefore it’s busy and sometimes congested with Cessna 172s and general aviation aircraft’s. This airport doesn’t have many shops, but it has plenty of seating and wide hallways. Outside where drop-off/ pick-up is at there is lots of nature and wide sidewalks and walking paths.

Very friendly TSA. Delta counter staff well trained and friendly. Only suggestion would be to add some sort of Vendor on the other side of security that would be open before 6 AM so that you can get a cup of coffee and perhaps a small breakfast. McDonald's comes to mind. Other than that, great experience.

Little to no lines, actually helpful and friendly TSA agents, quick and easy boarding. Overall great airport experience, far better than Orlando. Would definitely recommend

No wait because it have 5 gates, respctfull staff with kind manner. neat and clean airpot with beautifull environment. bags check are done respectlly with care of goods. i choose this airport the easy going without taking too much time.

People here are typically great! The airport is so convenient and set up so efficiently! Had one TSA agent in security that made my 83 yo mother feel like she was trying to smuggle contraband onto the plane when all she did was forget she had 2 small, sealed bottles of water in her carry-on! We all make mistakes! 😱

This airport is not equipped to handle crowds well. Disabling TSA Pre-check the day after the largest event in their city (for multiple decades) is foolish. Multiple people have been standing around idle. Bathrooms were a mess, including one nonfunctional sink. Expect to wait over an hour in a crowd like cattle.

I flew here on a trip that I took to stay at Daytona Beach shores for about two weeks. Airport is nice to be able to get into, isn't crowded like other airports.
