Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

I went to this university for a 9th grade field trip, I loved this place very much. The staff and professors were so kind and helpful. All of the classrooms looked so nice and beautiful even. They even let us participate in a robotics activity and we also got to play with a VR headset for one of the classroom activities as well. Very neat and beautiful university.

Our son attempted to go here but it was so ghetto we made him drop classes and go elsewhere. EVERY dorm is broken after 3 months of summer break. How is that possible? What was maintenance doing for 3 months? The school has no information about anything. It is like they have no clue what they are doing. I think the administration here must be Government employees. I can't think of a single positive thing to say. Well, the students who helped during move-in were all super nice. They were the stars of the campus. They should be running the school and the Administration should all be fired and be forced to clean toilets at a bus stop.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. This is not what you think. You would think this was a affiliated school with Texas A&M in Bryan TX. Might have the same name, but it is horrible. Staff , if they speak English, could give us no answers. The campus looks like the south side of Chicago. The dorms smelled like Marijuana, and when we went to move in there was a shooting around the block. You should vist before you enroll your child. We withdrew our child immediately. People should be aware of this...

You can see the pelicans on the hike and bike trail very close up and many other birds like blue herons and sand pipers. It was a nice day and interesting signs about the 100 different types of grass. I did not know about that.

Class of 2010! I just wanted to say I really enjoyed my time here. I was really excited to start the nursing program. It was one of the happiest times of my life. It was so fun to study and look out of my dorm apt window overlooking the bay. I didn't even notice or care all of our classes were in the same room and now there is an entirely new nursing school building. Love the development. Awesome for future nurses! 🙂

I had a horrible experience here. I did my undergrad somewhere else. Decided to come here for my masters when I moved areas of the state since it was local. It was a complete shock to me. This campus is almost incompetent. You ask questions and nobody truly knows anything. Not even the associate deans of colleges. You ask them things, they say they will get back with you, and never do. I’ve heard very similar stories from other students as well. Or if they tell you something, it’s last minute and it stresses you out. We are trying to plan ahead and the faculty and staff won’t let you do that. They’re procrastinators. I left after a semester because I couldn’t stand the unprofessionalism. When they know you’re leaving, they get offended and angry with you. It’s because they know they’re not good at their jobs

It was awesome. They had family weekend with a DJ games and a peep rally followed by a volleyball game.
