Kicks Martial Arts

My family has been at kicks for over 20 years. My father in law, sister in law, husband and now my son have all received their Black Belt with Master Kim and his son, Jerome. This school has helped my son with his behavior and attitude. It gives him a safe and acceptable place to work through frustrations. It teachings him discipline and respect. The Kim family have always treated my family fairly and kind. The price for classes is fair and the schedule is convenient.

We’ve been apart of Kicks for over a month now. We tried a few places and we appreciate the flexibility as well as Master Kim being very personable and engaging. He’s able to keep the kids focused the entire time!

Kim is great! Wonderful studio. I took my 4 year old son and they really gave him the attention to help him learn and stay focused. I highly recommend kicks.

Mr. Kim you lack integrity and bring disgrace to the Korean people. You still own my mother 2 months’ worth of classes that she paid you in advanced to teach me martial arts. 26 years ago I was enrolled in Master Kim’s martial arts academy. My mother prepaid for 3 months of training. Mr. Kim told all the students we were a family and always told us to take care of each other. I was a young 14 year old boy and trusted and admired Mr. Kim. When it came time to take my belt test my mother did not have $80 to give me so that I could take my test. I told Mr. Kim and he told me I could take it in two weeks. Two weeks later my mother still did not have $80 to give me. That day Mr. Kim called me into his office and told me to call my mother and have her pick me up. He told me I was kicked out of his class. When I asked him why he told me I was a bad example for the other students. By me not taking my next belt test 2 times in a row it would encourage other student in the class not to take their belt increase tests. I started to cry and told him my mother just does have extra money and did not understand what I had did wrong. He told me to wait outside the building for my mother to come get me. You taught me a very valuable lessen about how the world runs Mr. Kim.

This is a great place to come learn Martial Arts. My son loves it here. Best Instructors and Masters. I chose Kicks because they are taught self defense, discipline and respect. They are not just learning to fight. My son is a better student and child because of this school.

People is very friendly and also the place is super clean. Dojo is big enough to practice.

It's good I should be a higher belt by now tho🙄
