Clovis Library

This is a cute and semi small library. I didn't check out the adult section, I took my niece to start getting her used to visiting the library. They had a cute little childrens section. They have a big tree made of paper in the middle of the room, which my niece loved. They have several rows of books, I like that they had a small book shelf of hard toddler books. They had 2 small computers for kids to play games on as well. It was a good 1st library experience. They are currently conducting construction out front so the front entrance on 5th street is closed. There is access in their parking lot off 4th street. UPDATE: The construction has ended, you can now access the library from 5th street.

My daughter & I are huge book enthusiasts, & we both had a blast!!

Hometown library feel. My favorite.

Very helpful, pleasant staff. Accepts household lightbulbs and batteries for recycling/disposal, which is very useful. Larger facility with enhanced capabilities planned, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Time Just dropped my dogs off at the groomer and needed a quiet place to work ( I didn't want to go back home) and I had not been in a library for a while, and the memories were the same. Sounds of children and the staff were filled with life just like the books that surround them. Thank you for allowing me to revisit a fun memory of my experience ( a trip to Amsterdam by way reading in the library) so many years ago.

Friendly staff. Small and old venue. Good programs for adults, teens and kids. Hoping they get to upgrade soon like the senior center. Definitely a pillar in our community that should never be cut.

The employees here are always so kind and helpful. Whenever I have a book on hold, I know exactly where to expect it. The children’s book selection is pretty good and if there is a book you are looking for, it is easy to find it online and have it transferred to this location. The books are organized and the library is clean. It is a little smaller than some of the libraries, but it makes it easier to know where everything is.
