On Stage Playhouse

This is a modern quaint theater space nestled in Chula Vista. You may walk by it during the day or drive by it. It's so important to support your local theater community. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This theater has lots of history, but under new direction. It seems to have a modern take on art. I love an intimate space and setting. You really get to delve into the storytelling of the play. The actors we're amazing, and I will definitely be back to see other shows. Very thought-provoking, modern takes on current issues and ideologies.

This is a small, intimate stage in Chula Vista (maybe 50 seats). You feel like you are part of the play. The play we saw was an original work and very entertaining. The actors were excellent. The playhouse is located on a fashionable shopping street with ample street parking, coffee shops and restaurants. The lobby sells refreshments at intermission.

My wife and I saw a great play tonight, Fragment/o/s Of Air/e, at this charming theater. Our first visit but certainly not our last. So very impressed with the quality of the story and acting. Check out their website to understand how the productions come about. Strongly you encourage to check it out and enjoy some of the fine restaurants and entertainment options surrounding the theater.

We've never been to a bad show here, and the productions are always thought provoking. One of my favorite theaters in San Diego County!

I had a wonderful experience at the play I saw here. Creative Director James is very kind and outgoing, meeting nearly everyone before the show. Simple but effective setup, I will be back for more shows. Please try this place.

This is an old, community Playhouse. Don't expect much from the space, but that doesn't mean the plays aren't fantastic. I only went once, but I loved the play about Chile and even got to meet the playwright.

It's cute little place, and you can tell they're serious about staging good theater and new work. First time there, but I already know it won't be the last.
