Chinese School of South Jersey

I am so MAD that I wasted all my money attending community colleges to learn Chinese when this amazing school has been close by, and in existence since the late 1960's!! I have learned SO MUCH in less than two years, than I did in many years taking Chinese at a community college! Plus there's always a sense of community, and family for ALL students who attend. This school also loves to challenge you in fun with speech contests, and singing songs in Chinese! They are just so super supportive, and super encouraging in your learning. Ohhh and don't forget the culture classes!! I am ENJOYING my Mahjong class! I've always wanted to learn Mahjong for the LONGEST time! Love the CSSJ family!!! Big UPS to the Principal, Peter, my 老师 Miss Rachel, my awesome classmates, Michael, Lillia, and Jonathan, and my incredibly entertaining, and wonderful Mahjong teacher, Sam!

My 5yo son has been enrolled in the program for the last year. Great experience and sense of community. As a non Chinese person it was great to get my son involved with another culture. Another draw has been the serious curriculum. Many language schools we have tried in the past did not have an academic rigor we we're looking for. This is a true school for learning Chinese language and culture. Would recommend as a great choice if you want your child to seriously learn this important language.

This is the place where I learnt I could belong

A great place to learn 😊

The name of the school is in Carusi
