Northside Neighborhood House is an incredible organization doing such important work in our community. Their team goes above and beyond to support local families — whether it’s providing essential resources, educational programs, or a helping hand in moments of need. I’ve been a proud supporter for over 20 years and have had the honor of serving on the board for the past two. During that time, I’ve seen firsthand the compassion, integrity, and impact that define everything they do. It’s truly inspiring to watch the difference Northside Neighborhood House makes every single day in strengthening our neighborhoods and creating lasting change. I’m so proud to be part of their mission! 💛

This organization helped when I was in desperate need of assistance. They were very kind, helpful, and caring. They offer programs and classes that benefit the head of household and their family. They follow up with you and don't just leave you at the side of the road. This organization and their staff were God sent. I'm so grateful 🙏

I called on 7/15/25 for Emergency assistance. They said I never sent in my documents but I have 9 emails where they were sent. They are obviously discriminating against my family. Avoid this organization at all cost!

Got the number for assistance from 211 needed rental assistance after the hospital felt I needed a stent in my heart after getting cleared to go to work my job wouldn’t let me work. I called Northside Neighborhood house to get rental assistance and was told that they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have a bank account and couldn’t show proof of thirty days of transactions. It’s millions of people who do not have bank accounts I guess it was there way to keep from assisting me.

Found 2 little items to purchase, an AV cable and soft empty cd case. There was no price on the items that I saw so I assumed $1 or $2. I go to check out, and see one register but 5 people in line. The third person in line buys furniture to pick up later so there's a form that takes another 5 mins or so. I finally get to the front to pay for my 2 little items, and she says because there isn't a price tag, she can't sell them. I ask if there is someone to price them, and she goes to the back where several people are pricing items. Out walks a lady who says she's the manager and has the policy not to sell items without price tags. I again explain that I had waited all this time, and offered whatever price she thought was fair. I just didn't want to waste all of the time. She told me to come back tomorrow to buy the items, but due to the lack of customer consideration, I will not return.
