BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE + MOST INTERESTING WINE SELECTION + KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. I’ve lived in Charleston for 3+ years and The Tippling House is definitely in my top 3 restaurants. It is UP there with Chubby Fish and Verns. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are always offering interesting and delicious new dishes, specials, etc. Keep an eye on their socials for Blackbird deals!

An absolutely must visit for locals and visitors alike. My boyfriend and I go to tippling before every date night for a quick glass (usually turns into a whole bottle). Their wine selection is amazing and their staff, especially miss Nikki, is so great at helping suggest wines we would like. I’ve known the owners for a little bit as well and they are so kind and welcoming, and very hands on for restaurant owners, which I find to be very special in charleston. They are exactly what I love about f&b and stand out among all the charleston restaurants/bars! Also the food is bomb!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My girlfriend and I have had the pleasure of dining at The Tippling House on multiple occasions since they opened up. Even if we have dinner plans elsewhere in town, we almost always stop in for a glass of wine before heading anywhere else. The service is remarkable and honestly some of the best we’ve gotten on the peninsula. The small plates here are just perfect for a little snack and a few drinks, and all of the staff is incredibly versed on all of the wine their menu offers. I feel like we learn something every time we go lol. Whether you are going for dinner or just popping in for a glass of wine, this is a must try location in downtown Charleston. Also if you can get there before they’re sold out, the burritos they have next door at the press during lunch are insane. Make sure you get both the red and green sauce.

I have enjoyed many evenings at The Tippling House. I return again and again due to the great food, service and the wines. The wines are amazing. Their chef has really stepped up their food game. And even though they are "small plates", that just gives you the opportunity to bring friends and try them all. Do not miss your chance to try this little gem of a place.

If you want quality local food, this is the spot. Vegan/vegetarian friendly, about 75% of the food we ate was plant-based. Top tier cuisine/service shoutout Chef Micah, Nicole, & April. Love the cutlery & plates chosen for this place. Chef Micah knows exactly what he is doing. Best chef in town hands down. Every dish was exquisite, and paired well with the 2016 rioja we ordered. 12/10 will highly recommend, and come back again!! (All the dishes in the pictures are plant based)

After dinner, I google mapped wine bar and this popped up. Wow, what a fantastic wine list, friendly staff and… food? The 4 of us were on our second bottle of wine when an amazing looking cheeseburger walked by us. I immediately ordered one for us to split and it was fantastic. If I lived here, I would live HERE. Keep up what you are doing, A+

Stopped here for some wine after dinner and found it to be a little gem. It’s small but they offer both bar seating and have some tables available towards the back. It was quaint but very inviting. I’m so sorry if I got your name wrong but I think it was Nicole? She was very friendly and told us about their specials and I love that they print a new menu daily as they rotate a lot of their wines. There was an option to do a "half bottle" which gets you just a touch more than a glass so we thought that was perfect for the two of us for just under $40. We got a nice and chilled Gamay and enjoyed our conversations with her. I definitely want to come back and try their food! It’s a nice place for a date, girls night or even if you want to sit alone at the bar. The team there makes you feel at home!
