Kirkwood Community College

Great servic, great mixed drinks at the bars, great food. Banquet hall was perfect and entertainment was spot on. We had a Company Holiday party and the services from rooms to the end was 100%.

My favorite Campus.. The Staffs and Instructors are amazingly great and very knowledgeable.. Been there for a year.. And never regretted.. I really had a great experience and beautiful memories with my friends in this campus.. Go Eagle!🤗🦅

I enrolled in the motorcycle education course. The instructor (Mike) was rude and I didn’t feel comfortable asking questions. He repeatedly raised his voice with other participants/students and created a very hostile and unsafe feeling learning environment. I would try the class again with a different instructor.

The math program is really great. The professors care about the student's learning, and they offer higher level math classes than most community colleges. My biggest complaint is that some of the classes (especially Comp. I) seemed to be dumbed down much more than I was hoping. I wanted a writing challenge, and Comp I was not it.

Awful experience and unfortunately is the end of my school experience anywhere, just a few classes shy of my degree too. If you are a parent or have children I would advise you to look at other schools. Although Kirkwood has a nice array of programs, if you are unable to complete the requirements because of situations out of your control and Kirkwoods refusal and avoidance to work with someone towards a mutually agreeable remedy along with the lack of policy adherence to obtain ethical and just outcome then the array of programs does not matter much. So thank you Kirkwood for assisting a mother of six that was trying to get an education to attain employment that would allow her to fully support her family when she was faced with an undeserved hardship and adding a 30,000 dollar debt to her struggle....I find it extremely suspicious that all the 5 star local reviews come from those the have given hundreds of reviews and all of them are 5 stars almost like they are rewarded for their 5 star reviews somehow.

I had a terrible experience at Kirkwood. I went for nursing and the instructors could care less about if you are learning the material to pass. They said they have such a good repuatation and a 98-99 whatever pass rate, well yeah you will have that when there are very few student left in the end. If you want a good nursing college, go to Mount Mercy University, I'm going on my second year and absolutely love it and the instructors really care about you to help you succeed.
