Sunrise School

My son has been attending Sunrise School for the past two years, and our experience has been nothing but positive. From the start, the environment has felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The teachers and management are incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive, and it’s clear they truly care about each child’s growth and well-being. The school maintains a strong focus on education while still creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for the kids, and I’ve seen so much growth in my son both academically and socially. The campus is always clean, safe, and well organized, which gives me great peace of mind as a parent. I strongly recommend Sunrise School to any family looking for a nurturing, structured, and supportive learning environment for their child.

My daughter has been attending for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about this preschool. The teachers are caring, patient and genuinely invested in every child’s growth. They’ve created an environment where kids feel safe and supported to learn each day. The communication with parents is also really excellent. I’ve seen so much development in my daughter since she started here. She comes home happy, confident and full of stories about what she learned. Sunrise School has exceeded all expectations. I’m so grateful for the loving community they’ve built.

When I was looking for preschools, I wanted a place that was safe, nurturing, and focused on helping children learn manners, kindness, and social skills. I’m so grateful that Sunrise School has provided exactly that! The staff here are super warm, attentive, and truly invested in the well-being of each child. I've noticed such positive growth in my child’s behavior, things like becoming more polite, confident, and independent since starting there. My experience here at Sunrise has been really positive. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise School to any parent who is looking for a trustworthy, loving, and educational environment for their child. Hands down the best daycare in Carlsbad. They also utilize the Brightwheel app, which adds so much value to the experience (photos and meal and potty updates). We've used their services since both kids were babies. This new location has a ton of space and even fun activities and special visitors for entertainment and education (think sports, animals, and more!) The owners are passionate and experienced providers and they've hired a great team of teachers to help. Sunrise is the spot for your kiddo. Reasonable rates compared to many other places.

This review reflects my personal experience as a parent. While my child was enrolled at Sunrise School, I felt there were challenges with consistency and organization. She was placed with several different teachers in a relatively short time, which made it harder for her to feel settled. I was also hoping for a more structured approach to learning and child development. Although there were caring staff members, the program did not match the level of planning and stability I was looking for. After moving my daughter to another school, I noticed positive changes in her overall stability and growth. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Sunrise School. I encourage parents to visit in person, speak directly with staff, and compare it with other programs to decide what works best for their child.

We’ve had such a great experience with Sunrise! My son has grown so much since starting here he’s more confident, social, and curious about everything around him. The teachers are so caring and patient, and it’s clear they really love what they do. It’s amazing to see how much he’s learned and how happy he is to go every day. We’re so grateful for the wonderful environment Sunrise School provides!
