Cultural Bytes - Interactive Language Program - Language Classes for Kids

My two sons joined the Spanish immersion camps this summer and they loved it. They had a great time, made many new friends, and had wonderful experiences. The camp was very far from our home and that still didn’t make them any less excited about attending every day. The staff were very nice and attentive. Both my sons are on the spectrum and they were still made to feel welcome and included. They boys feel more comfortable using words in Spanish and their curiosity has been activated because even now after the camp has ended, they ask me for the Spanish words of new things they encounter, which never happened before this camp. Very happy with our experience.

My kids attended two weeks of Spanish camp this summer and had such a great time. It was a long drive for us but I wanted to prepare my 5 year old for starting Spanish immersion DLI kindergarten this fall with some exposure to hearing the language. So we made the trek, and it was so worth it! The kids had fun learning about Latin American cultures, lots of songs and games, and water play every day. I even caught my kindergartener singing a song in Spanish at home! We will definitely be back for future camps and activities. Thank you Jackie, Maita, and Valeria 💗

My 7-year-old daughter attended 4 weeks of Spanish Summer Camp with Cultural Bytes and had a wonderful time. She has a little Spanish at school, but we were still nervous about how she would take to it especially not knowing anyone else there. After the first day, she seemed perfectly happy to go back, which is our sign that things are going well. We were always greeted at drop offs with huge smiles and excited welcomes, and our daughter always seemed cheerful and well-exercised at pick-up — she loved the water play days and at the end of her time at Cultural Bytes many projects and worksheets came home so we could see some of the things she had been up to. All in all, a great experience.

My 6 year-old daughter went to summer camp here for 2 weeks with her friend and loved it. My child did not speak any Spanish going in, and she was welcomed with open arms. Señora Jackie and the other camp leaders care about the kids and go above and beyond to give them lots of fun activities and games to fill the day. They even met my daughter at our car every morning, even on mornings when we were late (which happened quite a bit)! Check out this lovely program for your kiddos. You won’t regret it!

We sent our daughters here for two weeks of the Summer camp session. Our girls (ages 9 and 7) enjoyed the camps activities and learned a ton of vocabulary. Ms.Jackie and the other teachers welcomed them each morning and walked them out to my car at pick up with a nice review of the days activities. The director understands language learning will happen when kids are having fun so this was a win win!

My daughter really enjoyed her summer with Cultural Bytes. The Spanish program was engaging and kept her immersed in her target language program during the break. The activities were fun and kept her interested for the day. The staff are fantastic and welcome the students with a smile everyday!

I am so pleased with Cultural Bytes camp. I first spoke with Jackie, the director, via text and her energy and excitement won us over. My daughter did a week of the in-person camp in the beginning of July. She is currently in a dual immersion program at school and I thought going to the camp would help keep her language skills sharp during the summer. She really loved the camp and the instructors!
