College Station Steph

I have enjoyed my time at Blinn! The small classes sizes and ability to get from class to class has been great. The Writing Center and Tudors are amazing and very helpful, so take advantage of those resources! I do feel like there was not enough 16-week classes to choose from but tons of 8-week classes. I need the full 16! Do not take a TBA class period! I thought, how bad can it be.... Terrible! If there was a way to get money back I would. All other professors I took classes from over these past two years I scouted out on an outside resource and they were more than great!!! I hope to see some at the University I'm heading to next year! Advice: Learn to read your own degree plan and cross reference it with the University you want to attend/are attending to make sure classes transfer and are applicable.

I’m happy to have spent my first year here! After 32 credit hours, I did not have a single prof I disliked. They all seem to genuinely care about you and doing what they can to keep your grades up! *PLEASE NOTE: if you are interested in going here to transfer to TAMU go to a TAMU advisor to know which courses to take. The blinn advisor almost screwed me over, and messed up both my roommates classes, which is a complete waste of your time and money (classes aren’t cheap haha!) Overall, I would recommend coming here going into a University as you’ll get a lot more attention from professors and set yourself up well for later years (and a good GPA)!

Blinn College is a well-structured junior (or community) college. It has many options for class schedules, so you can register pretty much any time in the year. If you want to speed up your graduation date, you can take a bunch of 8-week, compressed courses. Those are very tough because of the fast pace. Most of my Blinn instructors have been, and are, very involved in student success & being available to help struggling students. The Bryan campus has many amenities and is impressively clean. I chose Blinn's AA in Architecture because its curriculum falls in line with NAAB accredited bachelor's programs for those wanting to transfer to a university. Except for dropping a math class, my experience at Blinn has been fulfilling.

Admin: they lost my high school transcript which made it so I couldn’t register for classes on time. I had to run around and talk to so many different people to get it fixed. Everyone was very helpful, but that situation shouldn’t have happened in the first place… mixed opinions, but mistakes happen. Education: I only had one professor I didn’t like here. Every prof I had genuinely cared about their students, their success in the class, and seemed dedicated to helping students continue their education. Notable profs, dr Delgado, dr chow, prof walker, and prof heffley

The first thing I like about Blinn college is the small-sized classrooms, and the ratio of student to professor. Here the Professors will actually teach you by making sure you understand the lecture material. At Blinn, you could walk up to your professor and ask any questions that relate to study and life. Blinn boasts of her high transfer rate and the various academic partnership that they have with other universities, including Texas A&M University, Sam Houston State University, TAMU @ Rellis Campus, and more. Blinn College has numerous learning resources that would help you succeed academically.

If I could give 0 starts I would. This is definitely the worst school, I wouldn’t wast your time on it they never get back to you in a timely manner ESPECIALLY FINANCIAL AID they’re absolutely no help, they are not organized, and their advisors have no clue what they’re doing at all. You will talk to 90 people before something even gets close to being resolved. They only care about money it’s not about the students. If I had to choose again I would not pick this school, go somewhere else, literally anywhere else. Huge waste of time and money.
