Boston International Academy

The school is a mess; they don't keep to the schedule, students arrive late, disrupt the class, talk during class, are absent more often than they attend, and there are students of very different levels in the same classroom. We had to leave in the middle of class to move cars. In the summer, the heat is unbearable, and in the winter, freezing. There were picnic tables in the classrooms and plastic chairs, dirty and smelly bathrooms, there were always leftover food in the classrooms and kitchen, and construction debris everywhere. A month ago, I transferred to a real school; it has electrical outlets, encourages conversation, and the blackboard doesn't fall off. Avoid this school!

I have been studying at Boston International Academy in Brighton, Boston, for almost three months now, and I highly recommend it. The entire team is incredibly attentive and has a great consideration for each student. My teacher Jousie is the best!! They are aware of each student’s individual situation and strive to provide the best solution for everyone. I also want to mention the director, Andy, who is undoubtedly the most professional and has a great sense of humanity. If you are looking for a school to learn English or if you are coming from another country and are unsure about what to expect, you won’t find a better school than this.

Before Boston International Academy, I was really self conscious about speaking and writing English. After attending BIA, I feel more comfortable and confident. The staff here is very supporting. My questions never went unanswered and help was always there. Because of the small class size, the staff were able to focus more on each student, helping them improve on their specific weaknesses in English. I have also made some strong friendships with my classmates over the struggle of learning English. The environment here at BIA is friendly and encouraging. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn.

BIA is an amazing school as all aspects of it exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous about my English skills as they were very limited, but my learning process was well supported by my teachers and peers. There was no judgement towards me and through this school, my English has improved immensely. I would definitely recommend people to come to this school to learn and be surrounded by great people.

BIA is an amazing school for international students who are eager to improve their English, practice for the TOEFL test or even become an English teacher! Also, it could be a perfect path to College or University. The staff is great, they are always willing to help you when you are in need. Teachers are super qualified. I highly recommend BIA to prospective students who have the desire to study in the USA! Thanks BIA for this wonderful experience.

I had been in BIA for 9 months. BIA is the best place I've ever learned in English. That's really awesome and friendly. You can hang out with many international people. All staff are ready to help your success. I strongly suggest you to attend in BIA. If you search English Language School in Boston, I think you should come to BIA. BIA is like a home. You can feel very comfortable. Every month, there are interesting activities and trips. There are also fantastic teachers and they are all knowledgeable and funny. All teachers are unbelievably awesome. One thing I remember is that a teacher advised me when I got in trouble and depressed on learning process. He encouraged me and said, be confident your self and come as you are, you are such a incredible person!! That's very touchy to me. Come to BIA!!!

I learned a lot of things in this school for 4 months. The school staff is very friendly and it is the nice environment to learn English for international students. My teacher was Brian, and he was an absolutely great teacher! Usually, we discuss a lot in the class, which allowed me to get fresh perspectives on a topic. In addition, by comparing notes with other students, I could evaluate my accuracy, fix any errors, and get ideas from other student's opinion. Anyway, BIA is one of the best English Language Schools in Boston!
