Honestly worst admissions experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been going back and forth with the finance department and admissions to get simple questions answered, such as potential class times, as I was hoping to do part time at night. They have been absolutely unhelpful in this matter. I have had many communications with various departments and none have given any response except "sign up". They keep emailing me and texting me to sign on RELENTLESSLY but refuse to answer even the most simple questions when prompted. Definitely not worth the money

A Disruptive Force in Global Education – Bold, Accessible, and Visionary The University of the People is more than an institution, it's a movement. As someone with a deep background in development, consulting, and systems thinking, I see UoPeople as a strategic disruptor in the global education ecosystem. In an age where student debt, institutional exclusivity, and rigid academic systems limit potential, UoPeople boldly redefines access. It dares to democratize higher education through an innovative model that is tuition-free, fully online, and internationally diverse. Their rapid growth is no accident; it’s a testament to intelligent systems, strategic partnerships (like with UNESCO, Yale, and Google), and mission-driven design. The curriculum is rigorous, the learning environment is highly collaborative, and the peer-to-peer model fosters critical thinking and resilience. What impresses me most is their relevance. UoPeople equips learners with practical, globally applicable skills at a fraction of the cost, especially in fields like Business Administration, Computer Science, and Health Science. The university doesn’t just give degrees, it builds digital-age problem solvers. Is it perfect? No system is. But for those willing to work hard, think critically, and build global networks, UoPeople is a powerful launchpad. T M Entrepreneur | Consultant | Education Reformer | Digital Strategist

I attended this university (ELI) about 15-20 years ago. I had never broken a window in the party room of the dormitory where I used to lived, but I was forced to pay for the glass in the window that someone had cracked when they were drunk. I could not accept this decision and went to protest, but principal (at the time) did not accept it,so I moved to a different school. The teachers were unique and interesting.

Since coming to UB as a transfer, I honestly really love it. My major is International Political Economy and Diplomacy, and in every class there always many international students, which creates a rich environment for discussion. I can personally attest that the professors are extremely helpful and because the school is so small there is plenty of one on one interaction. Even though this is my first semester I already feel extremely connected with the school. A huge focus the professors harp on is future careers, and we get plenty of advice on resumes and interviews and such. I'm honestly proud to be at this school and am very happy with my decision.

I graduated in 2016 from UB with a Master of Science in counseling. I had the best professors who were supportive and provided guidance with every step of my journey. My daughter recently graduated with her Masters in Criminal Justice and my youngest son is now in his second year. Purple Knights to the world! I would recommend UB to anyone seeking higher education.

I have to admit, after being accepted to the Master's program early in 2014 I was nervous attending graduate school. I was unsure of what type of situations I would encounter, and what type of curriculum I would face. After the first day of orientation, I knew that the University of Bridgeport was the best choice for me. The staff and professors in my department are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The classes I have taken have not only improved educational leadership qualities, but have also helped improve my mathematical prowess. Although the classes may seem difficult at time, my professors demonstrated an excellent balance in challenging students while holding their interest. I have created many long lasting friendships as well with the students in my program. In concurrence with our education progress, we find ourselves continuously engaging in a sort of fellowship that I have not experienced elsewhere. In essence, the phrase "work hard, play harder" seems fitting. We have fun in class, and we get to work when we need to. I find that my professors are equally as entertained as my fellow students, helping to aid in the maintenance of the positive climate in the classrooms. If anyone reading this is nervous or unsure of their decision to attend the University of Bridgeport, as someone who previously felt the same way I offer the following advice: don't be. This is a phenomenal University with amazing programs and a delightful professional staff. They will help guide you to success by any means necessary. If you put the work in, keep a positive attitude, and remember to have fun, I promise you that the University of Bridgeport won't let you down.

I don’t know why UB is taking so much time to generate my i-20 its been 2 months while Im waiting for their response but they haven’t reached me out till now. I had submitted them my bank statement 2 times but they didn’t respond whats the problem for taking too much time to give me a confirmation. I think their admission faculty is way slow to check applicants Documents.
