We stayed on the Bowling Green State University campus for a week for our youth conference. We had over 1300 youth in attendance. The campus is very beautiful and well taken care of. The facilities were very clean. The staff were friendly to work with throughout the week. The food at the dining halls was pretty good. Our youth had a great time in the campus.

Wow, they are serious about their Falcons. It is a beautiful campus that looks to be handicappedaccessible. It also looks safe.

What a beautiful campus. We visited on the President's Day open house to do some tours with our graduating child. What an experience to visit on an actual school day and witness the university in motion. I now know why my kid has committed to BGSU! Every person we met, including the president of the university, were genuine and enthusiastic, making the experience that much more enjoyable. A huge thank you to all the students and staff that made for an amazing day.

The professors and advisors are great which is why it even deserves one star, and they do a lot to make sure that you have what you need. However, when it comes to the universities procedures and policies its outright aggravating. My car was damaged in the parking lot, I reported it to the Campus police, they photographed the damage and said they would call me back. THEY DIDN'T. They have no cameras in the parking lot besides lot 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I pay $88 PER SEMESTER, to fight for a parking spot and even then risk my vehicle to damage. My car has got scrapes from doors, and had to buy a beater vehicle (WHICH ALSO GOT DAMAGED) because they damaged my BMW and even chipped the paint after the third time being hit by a car door and its going to cost me $200 just to get the dent out of my door!!!!!!! I have tried everything to even arriving at 7am in the morning and parking on the edge where only one person can park next to me, however. The laziness of the snow being shoved onto the back corner of the parking lot has prevented me from parking safely as well. It gets better... I have a disability, so I was forced to walk pretty far despite paying SO much to park here and attend classes $650/mo WITH FASFA support!!!!!!!!!!. And despite the money they receive from us students, due to these cold conditions, they didn't really clear up the sidewalks, ice is everywhere, and they shoved all the snow onto the bike racks and not a single one is cleared up. Its got at least 6 inches of snow covering the bike rack if not more. I cannot walk that far to get to my classes especially in the cold and I cannot push my scooter through 6 inches of snow. I cannot get my electric scooter through any of this and it interferes with my heath conditions. No charging stations for the scooters (or you're not allowed to charge it there...). They forced students to come to school on a level 3 that was issued in numerous counties, and caused me and some other students to succumb to illness due to the cold, I left early to go to the doctors as I was extremely ill and could not breathe from the cold. I love the vibes of this university but they are severely neglecting the students especially ones who are not on-campus despite paying an arm and a leg to even be here. Commuter students be ware and FOLD YOUR MIRRORS. And BGSU, please make this campus more accessible for students who cant walk all the way from their car in -1 degree temperatures, and allow them to be able to charge their bikes and scooters if they need it and PUT MORE CAMERAS UP. We are paying YOU TO PARK HERE. It is the least you all could do to prevent more reported vehicle damage... as the officers said it happens so often all they can do is take a report and check the SINGLE CAMERA YOU ALL HAVE IN LOT 5. COME ON.

As an alumnus of BGSU, I did have some great time and precious memories on campus, and even now I still appreciate this journey and all the people I met here.

Sunday after Christmas took a nostalgic campus tour. It was great, no one was around and I could just stroll about. Started counting new buildings, that have appeared since my days on campus and decided it was easier to count the one that I knew, that were still there. Even my old dorm was gone! South Hall, my speech and theatre homebase was renamed. But get this, the Bursar's building was gone too, if they would have asked I would have helped tear that one down. The advancements in technology and convenience that have amassed since I graduate in 1985 really changed the place. Proud to be a Falcon!!!!!!!!

Bowling Green is a decent place but their staff don't seem to really care for students and it is really a big money grab. Whether it comes to scheduling classes or wanting to do certain classes that aren't actually available, when providing transcripts they screw you over with classes you don't need. Just overall disappointing when they brag about the college being #1 in student experience.
