MUJI Newbury Street

This may be a great store but when there are over 20 people in the queue to pay and one person it is crazy. People were putting things back because the wait was crazy long. Other staff filling shelves when clearly help would of been better checking people out. On the plus homeware and food selection was pretty cool

This is a fancy minimalistic Japanese store so you already know everything is super expensive, but the merchandise is all high quality. MUJI has the best and most comfortable beanbags ever. Their pens are also regarded as being extremely good.

MUJI is a famous Japanese stationery, home goods, and clothing store with locations all across the globe, with this location being their main store in the Boston area. The store is spacious, with a wide range of textbooks, papers, diffusers, and clothing options to choose from. The options are on the expensive side, but the quality is pretty good to choose from and there is a lot for a wide range of styles and preferences. They also do sell some food here in pre-packaged form, but it didn't really catch my eye as something special.

Really cool store with a mix of high end school/office supplies such as pens, markers, notebooks and such. They also have a very nice selection of men’s and women’s clothes. Gives a Zara type vibe. No logos, not much in the way of patterns. Simple yet quality clothing.

This is a very useful store. They have solid basics and some fun nick-nacks. The clothes are high quality, though they're made for smaller people. The style is classic and fortunately is logo-less.

I love Muji’s aesthetic and product selection, but the checkout experience here is consistently frustrating. I visited recently and the line to pay was ridiculously long. Only one register was open despite it being peak hours. What’s worse is that there were no visible efforts to call for backup or acknowledge the wait. It felt like customer time just wasn’t a priority. For a store that prides itself on simplicity and efficiency, this part of the experience felt chaotic and neglected. Please staff the registers adequately—especially during busy times. No one should spend more time in line than they did shopping.

I love shopping at Muji. The clothing is high quality at a reasonable cost. The homewares and paper notebooks are a great value. I wish they would bring back the aluminum clothes hangers as I am not a fan of the plastic ones they sell now.
