American Martial Arts Academy - Bolingbrook

We signed up in July 2025, and my daughter has been loving it ever since! Master Hong and his team are absolutely amazing—so patient, encouraging, and great with kids. The classes are fun, engaging, and well-structured, and you can really see how much the kids enjoy being there. We’re so happy we found this place and highly recommend it!

We are so grateful and thankful for having my daughter enrolled with AMAA. The leadership and staff are so experienced ,friendly ,thoughtful and one of best team we could ever have. Can't wait to see my child growing more stronger and confident .

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this martial arts school. The instructors are incredibly patient and truly welcoming, especially with new kids. They take the time to encourage each child and make them feel included, no matter their skill level. I’ve already seen such a positive difference in my son—not just in his skills, but in his confidence and discipline. I’m really grateful for the supportive and encouraging environment they provide. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great program for their child.

I took Tae Kwon Do in Chicago as a child until I reached Black Belt when I was a teenager. Fast forward now, I’ve been looking for a great Tae Kwon Do school for my 6 year old and I found out about American Martial Arts Academy and had my 6 year old try it and she definitely loves it! Very nice staff and atmosphere! Very big space and curriculum is engaging! I noticed my 6 year old is more focused and less distracted and also understands emotions more. Thank you AMAA for being a core part of my child’s life.

AMAA in Bolingbrook is an amazing place to train and grow. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly care about each student’s progress. They teach not only strong taekwondo techniques but also respect, confidence, and self-discipline. The classes are well-structured and fun, and the environment feels like one big family. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, this school will help you improve both physically and mentally. Highly recommended for anyone interested in martial arts!

My son loves coming here. I also love the environment . I feel like they do a lot with the kids here outside of teaching them. They teach the kids about respect and respecting and obeying their parents. They also teach them about self confidence and not giving up. I would definitely recommend parents to allow their children’s to be apart of AAMA.

The best fb ad I ran across in my life. I love this school! I watched my son gain so much confidence! My son WAS very shy at first.... Now he is talking on microphones in front of people. He is gaining so many friends and we both have gain family. His discipline level is definitely improving. He is starting to be more focus than he ever was. AMAA is the best thing that happened to us in Bolingbrook!!! Thank you everyone that is involved in my Son's journey! AAMA Is the best! AMAA Bolingbrook!!!!
