The Kimmel Institute

What are wonderful experience. From the front desk, the doctor, his assistance to the check out and payment. Everyone is wonderful, funny, helpful while being professional. Now, my legs are, feel and look brand new. I cannot say enough how highly I recommend the institute.

I drove all the way to this office from Plantation, twice. The first visit was just a consult, and I was never informed there would be a $175 consultation fee when I scheduled. Surprise billing is already a red flag. When I met Dr. Kimmel, his bedside manner was… let’s just say, not warm. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt because he did say he treats a lot of forehead veins, so I scheduled the procedure. Fast forward to the day of the procedure: I was already feeling uneasy, and his attitude made it worse. I asked a couple of basic questions and his responses were sarcastic and dismissive. When I asked him if the vein in question was an accessory vein, not a drainage vein, he replied, "I hope so." Ok… when I asked "what could happen? Is there a possibility the vein will look worse?" He responded, "I’m not making any promises. This is cosmetic." At that point, I didn’t feel safe, reassured, or confident so I chose not to move forward. The receptionist was kind. Ultimately I ended up being charged $100 (I’m assuming insurance covered part of the mystery consult fee?) Overall, this was not a positive experience. Transparency and a respectful bedside manner matter.

My experiences with the Kimmel Institute have been very positive. The receptionists, Christina and Ingrid, were both polite and helpful. Gloria was friendly and helpful, too. Melissa, Dr Kimmel's assistant, was very professional, caring and explained what was happening throughout the procedure. Dr Kimmel was both kind and extremely adept. I would recommend the Kimmel Institute for any vascular procedures.

Dr Kimmel and his staff are very helpful, kind and friendly. The office is very clean and well maintained. Dr Kimmel explained the procedure in detail. He is very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with the results of my procedure. I highly recommend the Kimmel institute.

I am beyond impressed with the final results. Dr. Kimmel demonstrated a high level of skill and took the time to explain the procedures in detail, answered all my questions, and ensured that I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. His entire administrative and clinical team was an absolute pleasure to work with, and each team member mirrors the compassionate, patient-focused atmosphere that I have found unique to the Kimmel Institute’s practice. I am truly grateful to Dr. Kimmel and his staff for their exceptional care and expertise and thanks to him and his team, I have a new lease on life!

I can highly recommend The Kimmel Institute! I had a sclerotherapy procedure on my legs and it was extremely fast and virtually painless. I was very nervous prior to the procedure, but Lilia was very kind and comforting, and explained the procedure in detail. Dr. Kimmel is an amazing doctor - very professional, knowledgeable and kind. I am SO happy Dr. Kimmel was referred to me by my primary care doctor. Dr. Kimmel and his entire staff are awesome! You will not be disappointed!

This is my second time going there. I was so pleased with the first a lot of people say they can take away spider veins, but this man is a genius. You will be very happy and they run specials all the time so the price is right. Thank you again Kimmel Inst.🙋‍♀️😊
