I am so glad I found Fumi-sensei and Sakigake school. My two boys take online beginner Japanese and Fumi-san has done a wonderful job introducing them to the language and making it fun and engaging. She is patient, kind and flexible and they have learned so much in a short period of time. The best part is their continued excitement for learning. We are very pleased!

We absolutely love Sakigake! Fumi sensei is very kind, patient, and makes class fun for my daughter. The small class sizes are great! The summer camp was a wonderful experience for my daughter in her Japanese language learning journey. Very grateful for this school!

My 2 daughters attend Sakigake School, and I can confidently entrust them because the classes are conducted in small groups, allowing the teachers to interact closely with the students. Additionally, they are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling adjustments for the classes, which is a great help!

Sakigake is great! My son struggled in his math word problems. We had great results from Fumi’s tutoring. He is doing a lot better with his math problem solving.

She is very professional, and doen't hesitate contact parents with any concerns.

うちの息子が4歳からお世話になっております。ひらがなや数字の読み書き、簡単な算数は魁塾で日本語としたしみ、毎日自宅でも少しずつやっています。ふみ先生のおかげで息子にも「日本語を勉強している」という自覚が芽生えたようで、自慢げにキンダーの先生に日本語の読み書きができることを話していました。私は息子を日本の小学校へ体験入学させたいので、その時に息子がちんぷんかんぷんにならないようにじっくりとゆっくり学ばせるという目的で4歳からやっています。魁塾では、通う頻度や、宿題や、学び具合など、様々な工夫で対応してくれていて、私はお勧めの塾だと思います。ふみ先生は子供のすきなことが凄く分かっているなといつも思います。そして、簡潔明瞭な学習計画も好きです。お話をしながらカレンダーをつくったり、子供と交わる会話がたくさんあることが80分授業のなかでもとても魅力です。あと、息子の場合は英語の環境になりがちな日常なので、違ったお友達サークルで日本人の方々とも出会えてとてもいい感じです。こどもが「これはなんていうの？」という姿勢を持ち続けることができる秘訣がたくさんあるとおもいます。アメリカ人の夫に節分の豆まきの話などを授業の後の夜共有して文化を家族で習えるようなきっかけにもなっています。質問など気軽にできるかと思います。

息子が6歳の頃から通ってます。家でひらがなを教え始めた時期で悩んでいた時、魁塾のことを知り、通わせるようになりました。私が教えていた時はなかなか覚えなかったひらがなも、楽しく日本語を学べる指導のお陰であっという間に覚えました。ふみ先生は学習上の悩みなども親身に聞いてくれ、学習内容も柔軟に対応してくれます。日本語学習だけでなく、日本の伝統行事などもクラフトを交えながら楽しく教えてくれます。息子は毎週塾に通うのを楽しみにしてます。
