Queensborough Community College

Some of the best years of my life was spent here. Don't know how QCC is now, but when I was a student, the faculty was extremely helpful. Some of the adjunct professors teach at other Cuny and private schools, so tuition wise you're getting a pretty good deal. Also beautiful campus.

Actually the worst college staff ever. Beautiful campus but thats about it. Long story short, I came with my sister and spent money on the tuition fees for her classes and they shoved us out at 5 pm saying they’d email her… okay, Im thinking alright she’s in the system. Suddenly two months later my sister says she literally hasn’t got any email and that the navigate doesn’t allow her on. guess what they never did. She contacts them and they ignore her so I go in with her AGAIN and they say the same things and keep us waiting like how hard is it to assign classes… Now I have to take legal action like what. She applied to Hunter for summer 26’ and they accepted her and made an appointment in only two weeks. I went there and though the commute was harder, the advisors were actually caring and got her classes assigned on that same day. Meanwhile qcc had us dilly dallying to every 10 feet away building just to take a survey on a computer. So pro tip if this is ur only choice of cc, literally don’t leave until you have every thing you need and ASK questions please because they are lazy unfortunately and will try to play the "we’ll send you an email" exuse.

This has been a complete waste of time. I have been trying to attend this College since August of 2026. I have had nothing but problems. First it was a misplaced transcript. How is that possible ? From there came Financial Aid . Then an issue with Health Services. Now it’s time to pick classes and no online classes are available for my BA. So I feel I am being forced to come onto Campus. I don’t mind, but I was originally told I had until Feb 28th to get second MMR shot. Since, there are no online classes available for BA. Now I have to try and schedule an appointment to get this shot. People work and have lives outside of school. I just like to be more organized and planned with my life. Attending this school, seems like my life would be all of the place. I will find another local school to attend.

Outside a few math classes (calc 1-3, DE) and physics courses it's essentially a useless school as completing an associate degree here doesn't fulfill most gened courses at SUNY/ other universities. Nassau community college is a better community college.

Queensborough Community College is truly one of the best colleges out there! I graduated in the Class of 2019, and I can honestly say that my time at QCC was life-changing. The campus is absolutely beautiful. It's a peaceful and welcoming environment that makes you feel proud to be a student there.

This school gives you nothing but troubles if your a person of color and they make you lose time on repeating a course.It doesn’t matter if you pick your classes first and pay for it first they can kick you out and give your seat to someone else . This school is the worst school not a school that should be recommended while I did not use Ai to help me on assignments yet saw they allowed others to use Ai for their advantage. I can’t not respect a school that can’t respect a students education and time . Extremely disappointed in this school I will gladly transfer out and never return. They are 100% unprofessional and got 0 communication. Class usually got 10 -18 students and no one talks so glad I’ll have a different college experience elsewhere.
