A Strong Foundation for My Career I graduated from CSUB last year with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Accounting, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. The professors were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in student success. The coursework was challenging yet practical, and it provided a strong foundation that has prepared me well for both graduate studies and real-world opportunities. The campus has a welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of resources available — from tutoring centers to career services — that helped me stay on track and feel supported throughout my journey. CSUB was the perfect place to complete my undergraduate degree, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality education in a supportive environment.

Amazing experience. CSU Bakersfield doing Covid vaccines for anyone that wants one. All thats needed is photo ID. Very professional, very friendly, and very quick staff. The entire time from parking in the abundant parking spaces to walking to the facility, waiting in line, getting the show, waiting the 15 minutes, and leaving was less than an hour. Thank you to everyone the set up, ran, and administered the vaccines. Your staff are the real heros. The participants even were on point by following the guidelines to make the experience enjoyable.

January 10, 2025 - CSUB Road Runner Aquatics My daughter at first loved it ; then they started adding too many kids per class , this is harder for one coach to concentrate on each kid progress. My daughter eventually lost interest because of this on july 2024 . Unfortunately my daughter has had some psychological issues to which she’s seeing a professional; it was suggested for her to try again her favorite sport. At the beginning of January 2025 I contacted Mr. Ryan B. ( the head coach) ; at the time he was polite and gave her a one day swimming test , next day I paid the $140 + fee for the month; the only thing he said was if I ever wanted to cancel I need to give two weeks notice. Unfortunately my daughter had a nervous episode the next day not wanting to go back; the psychologist told me that it was not a good idea to force her. I emailed Mr. Ryan about possibly canceling since she didn’t take a single class only the testing day. Mr. Denied my money back , I asked if I could at least get half back ( $ that can still help with my daughter’s treatment) I am a single mom with no job , I have a disability, I am trying to help my daughter the best I can with her health issues. Mr. Ryan said that only extreme cases he will give the $ back , I tried a higher up , but he said that he was the only person to talk to. Yes I am upset, but I also want to warn others about this place , money seems to be a priority for them , not the kids and families

I don’t like math and that’s why I didn’t complete the assignment at Bakersfield college. I have a PHD in sales. Retail. Buinsess and fashion. Took me 20 years and street credentials.

There really isn't anything wrong with csub per day, as a student there are many helpful things, such as information and individuals that are widely available.

CSUB is not as great as it used to be. They removed the gaming center, the average quality food is expensive and my professors are not always helpful. Ever since the Masters program switched to virtual learning, my experience just went downhill. Not rewarding like they promised and I'm shelling out so much money just to study at home instead of being on campus and using their resources. The gym is great though.

The concert was great, the musicians wonderful. The logistics left a few things to be desired. There was nothing in the pre-concert information about paying for parking. We paid rather than risk a ticket or being towed. The concert began almost 15 minutes late.
