Austin Mu Sool Won

I've been training here since 2003. Grandmaster Lee is amazing. Every class starts with 20 minutes of stretching. Then we learn kicks, punches, falls, self-defense, sparring, weapons, and general well-being. This is a family martial arts center that has something for everyone.

My teenagers love taking martial arts at Mu Sool Won. Master Lee is a fantastic motivator and encourages every student to enjoy the sport and build self confidence through practice. This is a very family oriented facility with teachers who really enjoy being there and enjoy seeing all succeed. The Korean cultural festivities on special event days are really fun!! Don't know what we would do without Mu Sool Won. My kids have never felt more welcome or enjoyed a sport so much.

Traditional Korean martial arts taught by a grand master. Very family friendly environment. I enjoy being able to learn in a challenging environment with other black belts some days -- while also getting to work out with my kids on other days. Personally, my favorite part is weapons training.

Started training with then Master Byung In Lee when he opened his studio on Anderson Mill Rd and Research (183). I returned to train as part of my rehabilitation program after a head injury in the Army. Since then, I've continued to do what I can to maintain a level of fitness and fun. There may be better instructors, more generous, more guiding, more capable. If so, I'd love to meet him or her. But, as for me, I'm thankful for what I have in the instructors and fellow students in this school. You never get bored. There is always something new to learn, or a new revelation in a long practiced form or technique. Come. Do what you can. If you have limits, let Grandmaster Lee know, and he'll build power around them. You'll be glad you did.

I have done martial arts here for more than 5 years, and I have to say, the place is amazing! The teachers are very kind and walk you through the forms and techniques, and it will get you in shape. Don't be afraid to bring your friends and family, too.

very nice and family friendly environment. My son loves this place, and wants to practice 3 times a week. nice instructors and clean practice room.

Very nice instructors, the best martial art school in Austin. My kids loves it.
