Authentic Chinese for toddlers, elementary children, middle school students and adults. Gao Laoshi has been our son’s Mandarin Chinese instructor for over eight years. She has taught him not only speak the language but also how to write it . The education doesn’t stop at the language. GCCA is about the culture equally, thus the name "Gao Chinese CULTURE" Academy". Our son has performed at Chinese (Lunar) New Year Festivals, various events & for his peers. He has even had a birthday at GCCA with friends and classmates that do not speak Chinese. Our party host played Chinese games with the adults encouraging fun for all ages. We were concerned that he would lose interest in the language as he’s gotten older however it has bern the opposite. As he grows, so does his understanding of the magnitude that being polyglot plays in achievement, confidence and opportunity.. Thank you to all talented teachers at GCCA for not only making learning interesting and fun but also generally carrying for child and our family. We look forward to trips to China, more years of lessons, summer camp and field trip adventures

The teachers in this school are experienced, friendly and patient with children. There are many activities, and children can learn a lot of practical Chinese while having fun. The children had a very happy summer camp here.

I’ve been searching for Chinese schools in Atlanta for a while and am so grateful that I found Gao Chinese Culture Academy for my kids! In NYC, I grew up in a very traditional Chinese school, where the chalkboard and teacher were in the front, we sat in desks and weren’t allowed to move much, and learned the language and culture through repetition and memorization. That’s why it was important to our family to find a school that was going to make learning fun - and that’s exactly what GCCA does! GCCA teaches the language and culture through play (hands-on activities, games, etc) and my kids LOVE it. My older daughter keeps asking to go back and I understand why! When we FaceTime with grandma, my daughter likes to share all the new vocabulary words that she is learning at GCCA - and popo is impressed! Gao 老師 and her team of super fun teachers are passionate about teaching Chinese. I love that the students are diverse and come from every corner of Georgia (and beyond). Whether you speak Chinese at home or not, GCCA is a wonderful place to have your kids to learn and have fun. There are classes on the weekdays (afterschool program), weekends, and during school break camps (fall break, summer, etc) I’m so thrilled to have found our Chinese school home, on the first try! If you’re thinking about enrolling your child, don’t blink. This is an amazing school.

GAO Chinese culture academy is the best Chinese learning experience. You get the best Chinese experience like you are actually in China. From the festivals to the cooking, to learning the language Gao teaches you like no other Chinese teacher will teach you!!!! We love her ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our daughter (2.5 yo) loves Gao Laoshi and coming to Chinese class! This is more (and so much more interactive) than the Chinese school you’re familiar with. Gao Laoshi is easy to work and truly cares about the students. There are so many fun activities that Gao Laoshi prepares. We attend a weekly Simply Beginners class and most recently a cooking classes. We made mooncakes while learning about important Chinese holidays and traditions. Such a fun place!

Excellent quality Chinese immersion programs for children! The lead teacher Gao Lao Shi is very kind yet firmly encouraging for my student to speak only Mandarin in class. He is an advanced speaker, and she adjusts assignments and creates classroom responsibilities for him to be challenged. I travel an hour from Gwinnett County for my son to attend school break and summer camps here (but traffic makes it impossible to attend after school program), and other parents even travel from out of state!
