My daughter skates here regularly. The staff are always so pleasant and accommodating. Quick to respond in email as well. Facility is clean and well kept. Parking limited but we go early so usually not a problem.
I’m extremely disappointed with this rink. My husband specifically called ahead to ask if he could come practice/play hockey. He was told on the phone that it was okay, so he drove an hour to get there. When he arrived, they suddenly said he wasn’t allowed on the ice and needed to have a coach with him. If that’s your policy, it should be clearly explained on the phone and before people make the trip, not after they’ve wasted their time and gas. Very poor communication and completely unacceptable way to treat customers. To whoever manages this place, get your staff together. Make sure the people at your front desk actually know what the hell they’re talking about. It’s not hard to communicate your own policy before someone wastes their time, gas, and money. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and a huge failure in customer service. We won’t be coming back, and I’ll make sure others know what kind of treatment to expect!
East West Ice Palace is a fantastic rink that offers a great experience for skaters of all levels! The facility is well-maintained, and the ice is always in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and professional, making sure everything runs smoothly, whether it's public skating, figure skating, or hockey sessions. The rink has a great atmosphere, and it never feels overcrowded, even during peak hours. The coaches and trainers are top-notch, providing excellent instruction for both beginners and advanced skaters. The pro shop is also well-stocked with everything you need, from skates to accessories. Parking is easy, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. If you're looking for a clean, well-run ice rink in the area, East West Ice Palace is the place to be! Highly recommend!
Very disappointing experience. I called this rink twice before driving over, just to make sure it was okay to come for stick time. The person on the phone clearly told me I could skate from 5–6 PM with no issues. After spending over an hour driving and paying for gas, I arrived only to be told that I couldn’t join the session without a coach. So not only was my time wasted, but I left completely frustrated. If the staff gave accurate information, this whole situation could’ve been avoided. Definitely not coming back after this.
A skating rink co-owned by Michelle Kwan’s family — how cool is that? It’s affordable and less crowded than bigger rinks. They offer lessons, public skate, and even curling! Staff is great with kids and beginners. Facility is clean and well-maintained. A unique place to cool off and try something different in LA
Neighborhood skating place and the price is pretty reasonable for public skating, abt $20/pp and locker is only 50cents. Our first time here tonight, my kid was having lots of fun.
Five stars for Tristan ❤️ thanks for all the good vibes and jams during Friday night hockey!
