If I had known about this marvelous martial arts center when I moved to Abilene, I would’ve had all of my children attend these classes. It’s not just about martial arts. We started our son at Abilene Martial Arts when he was four years old. We were looking for a place that took Martial Arts seriously, but also was able to keep a child interested and motivated -- it gave us both that and more. The instructor Matthew was the true gem that cemented our stay there over the next four years -- a genuine and outstanding presence among the children. He was, and is, absolutely fantastic. Their willingness to work with your schedules is commendable. We had to move due to Air Force reasons, but if we were able to stay, we absolutely would've kept at it. When my son joined he was having major issues with bullying. He was in the 2nd grade and now he's in the 5th grade. We love AMAC and he has so much confidence. He is disciplined and respectful. He made amazing friends there too. The instructors are incredibly patient and hands on. I would do it all over again. The only change is I would've put my son in sooner.
