I came in this morning with my hair in lots of breakage and not a lot of confidence. Kristina met with me, sat me in her chair, spoke with me about day to day stuff and gave me the sweetest words of encouragement about some not so fun stuff I shared with her. She made me feel comfortable, seen, confident, and ready to face the day. She is such a sweat and beautiful soul with an amazing salon with stylists just as great as her. My hair feels and looks better than it ever has and completely flew over my expectations of it being fixed. I highly recommend getting all your needs met here. Thank you again Kristina!
Listen, I don't know what kind of sorcery Kristina is working with, but my hair has never looked this good. She's the hottest stylist around - like, if great hair were a sport, she'd have Olympic gold. Every time I leave her chair, I feel like I should be walking a red carpet or starring in a shampoo commercial. The woman doesn't miss! My split ends are gone, my confidence is through the roof, and I'm convinced she has a PhD in "Making People Look Amazing." She's not just top of the line — she is the line. So if you're thinking about booking with anyone else... don't. Go see Kristina, thank me later. 💁🏼♀️💅🏻✨
I had an amazing experience here. I had virgin hair and dyed it for the first time with a dark red then went black. Priya was my hairstylist and she is super sweet and funny. She made my first time dying my hair a great experience even though I was nervous at first I loved my results. Every time I come in I have an awesome time and chat almost the whole time which I love. She provides snacks which was so cute and they were yummy. If you have virgin hair don’t be nervous just do it! (Left virgin brown hair, middle red, right black)
Kristina J is awesome. She is the only person I have let touch my hair in over 20 yrs. I have had same person. But, I moved away and just couldn't keep driving a hr and half for 10 min. Finally took a chance & do not regret it.
Brisa does an amazing job! My hair is healthy and looks great.
I have long hair and i get a bit of anxiety when getting it cut but she cut it perfectly 👌 and didnt take too much off .She has a great personality 👌 it was a great experience and im glad i stumbled upon this place 😊 I've been lookimg for a new hair person and I believe i found her .yay !
Hey guys! I have some information to share with you to help you not make the same mistakes I did. I got my hair done by a lady named Priya. She is super nice super sweet..for the most part. Mind you I have never had my hair dyed before so this was my FIRST experience with this sort of thing and it was not a fun experience for me. I texted her in advance a reference picture that I fell in love with and wanted to try out. I asked if she could achieve this look and she claimed to be able to with the upmost confidence. So I was really excited about the appointment I booked with her. Throughout the appointment we chatted and she communicated a few things here and there such as, tweaking the colors and going more neutral. That’s fine! It started going downhill when she bleached my entire head when the look did not require that step at all. Due to me having virgin hair I believe she just wanted to bleach me out to experiment. Bleaching permanently alters your hair so it’s harder for color to hold meaning she really shouldn’t have bleached me out because the color at the ends faded insanely quick. During the bleaching process I turned just about PLATINUM blonde, so she had to dye my hair blonde and then tone my roots and ends brown. The brown had a red tint to it I’m not sure why because we decided on a more chocolate brown. I couldn’t see what my hair looked like since it was wet most of the time from all the processing and washing. After she styled my hair I realized it looked nothing like my reference but I have been in that salon for a long time that I just tried to feel this look out to see if I could make myself like it. My coworkers and family were absolutely shocked seeing the side by side that Priya posted and very quickly deleted from her Instagram story of my hair. They looked NOTHING alike. I mean NOTHING!! The reference was a root melt with a reverse Balayage in a dark brown. I did NOT receive either of those. I was heavily encouraged by those coworkers and family members to contact her to get it fixed so I did the day after my appointment. I let her know that the color has faded quite a bit and implied that it was not the look I wanted. She blew me off claiming if she did what I said it "wouldn’t be the look I was going for", which is false. I was MISSING my low lights. I took that as she wouldn’t be able to fix it and that she would have to charge me $40 for more toner. I had a friend try to contact the owner to see if she could fix it but unfortunately she wouldn’t be able to achieve the look I wanted either. At least she was honest Instead of giving a client false hope. Other than the color washing out super quick without me using hot water and using color safe shampoo; I noticed the terrible blending of the colors on my roots AND end! Super choppy and blocky!! It’s almost embarrassing walking outside after noticing all the errors. I tried so hard to make myself like it and not make it a big deal but my uncle who is a professional hairstylist told me that her work was not acceptable. He said that if she could not fix it, I should get a full refund. Mind you I was charged $240 plus a $10 tip for this. After examining my hair he said it was over processed and he noticed the obvious choppy blending work. I texted her maybe a week or two later stating that I was very unhappy with my hair and that I would appreciate a refund. She tried to GASLIGHT me!! Saying I should have texted her sooner to fix it. I DID! I felt very attacked with the way she responded to me. I get that it’s embarrassing but don’t take it out on the client for your bad work. She ended up giving me $90 back and that’s including the $10 tip, only because it was my first time getting my hair dyed or else she would have given me only $50 back. Jaw dropping… I know. I will not be returning I encourage people to look else where when it comes to more complex looks. If you want a simple color change and maybe a trim. Priya is your girl.
