Horrible experience. Amy told me the cost of my hair when I called. When the braider started my hair, Amy was asking what kind of braids am I getting because it looks like a braided style. I immediately felt uncomfortable. It was a simple pattern to ensure the front of my hair didn’t have too much hair sewn in the front. I do not want to feel uncomfortable while spending my hard earned money. I had to guide the stylist how to braid the track in the front without it looking bulky. Upon leaving, I had a 30% tip for the stylist . Amy increased the price after service was complete. I told her she should’ve let me know before my hair was finished. I felt uncomfortable and disappointed. Pleasing the customer is obviously not a priority . If you want a see in that’s great, and you want to feel confident, please do not go there. Amy needs to be cognizant of her business practices. Her artist was so nervous, she left the needle in my hair.

Idk why I was holding hair and helping. They made me feel very uncomfortable. The original price changed and the environment didn’t feel welcoming. Won’t be returning. Oh and save your edges. Also I think they either have a bug problem or I mice problem or both

An honest review. They do need to post hours. They will book you at 11am, then call you at 8am, on the date of your appointment, because the 8am person canceled, and ask you to come in. If you disagree, when you arrive at your initial agreed time of 11am, you will be forced to wait for them to finish whomever came in at the canceled person's time. This wait can vary 35 mins- and hour, so be prepared to wait. This will happen very often. The prices are very high, and at times, are unreasonable for the work/experience both ladies, Amy and Tittah render. It is not high quality work. They do not offer any different range and styles. They only do large knotless, because "they have to be able to finish a style in less than 3 hours ". I understand you want to service as many customers as possible, but let customers know in advance that you are extremely limited in the work you can provide. I was a regular customer for years until last year, 2024. After the last 3 styles were not up to "basic" standards, e.g clean parts, different size in braids, etc.. I took my business elsewhere (Harlem), and have been very happy since.

My first time going to Amy's salon, and everyone was friendly. it was easy to call and make an appointment. The stylist was there on time and completed my hair in a reasonable amount of time. It didn't feel as she was pulling my hair it was painless and seemly quickly then I thought. My hair came out Fabulous. I recommend this location. Pictures are the three ways I will be wearing my hair. Straight back ponytail side ponytail and in a bun.

This business has no hours listed but has decent reviews and is in my area so I thought hey let me shoot a text. The text message didn’t work so I called around 9 PM a little late but I figured if anything I’d get a voicemail instead I got a person who rather than talking to me, hung up on me so I called back and she told me she was cooking Unprofessional. If you don’t wanna have your business and your personal line together then you should separate them but don’t hang up on customers we’re trying to give you business. Was recommended by a friend, and very happy I went! Real family business/local landmark feel, and great prices. Amy and staff have fast fingers, humble, and are ALL skilled.
