Sport Clips Haircuts of Yakima Orchards

Not even in the front, and not even in the back. I wasn’t expecting much, but they sent me home looking like "Special Jack" from the movie "Tropic Thunder". EDIT: Sport Clips responded and said the store manager reached out and is making things right with me. That is a lie. I have not been contacted by anybody. Even if I did receive an offer to make things right, I would just want a refund. It’d be a poor choice for me to ever go back for a haircut at this business.

I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience at Sports Clips. I specifically asked for a small trim, nothing too short. I said scissors for most of it and only a tiny bit of trimmers on the sides. I made it clear I wanted it to look slightly overgrown and natural. She even said, "Oh, you’re going for the overgrown look," so I thought we were on the same page. I also said I wanted my bangs to come down to about the middle of my forehead. She told me that because my hair is wavy, she was going to cut it a little shorter. I said okay, trusting that as the professional she knew best, but that ended up being a mistake. She cut it much shorter than I expected. The sides were taken way too short and squared off like a super fresh, sharp cut, even though I asked for it to look natural and slightly grown out. I didn’t want my sideburns squared off. I wanted them blended and overgrown-looking. Now the sides are so short that it almost looks like a mullet. It’s frustrating when you clearly explain what you want, the stylist repeats it back to you, and the result is completely different. I trusted her judgment, but it did not turn out how I asked. Now I’m stuck waiting weeks for it to grow back. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

From a messy mullet to an absolute MASTERPIECE (I can't read cursive so the name of the lady that did my hair is in the picture below) Didn't get mad or sighed about what I wanted, was super nice, and gave me a free drink. Best place ever. I will get my hair cut from her everytime. 100/100 stars

NICOLE is fantastic stylist. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to meeting my needs. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I appreciated their clear communication throughout the process. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for stylist service or product knowledge. I have problem or request shes tells me what i can do to help style or soothe my head. I will definitely be returning for future services. 10/10 Love The Gib texture products.

Absolutely horrible... we joined the wait list at 4 pm and and arrived within the estimated time frame... when we had checked in it put is at the very bottom while no one was on the list or inside waiting. when I asked an associate why were were still stilling there waiting an hour and there was still time left she told me it wasn't her problem and she'd get to us the time was up ev tho she was just sitting there doing nothing. we will never being coming back to this place. they have horrible customer service and clearly don't wanna do their job!!! very disappointing!!

1. This location charges me a different price every time I go here. (-1 Star): I don’t get a standard cut, just a cleanup of sideburns and neck.. I’m in the chair for maybe 8 minutes. Typically I’m charged $10-15 (it’s always a different price) and I’ll tip either $10-15. I’m used to paying $28 for this service (before tip) in the city so $25 total in Yakima seems like a win-win for me and the stylist. My last trip here, which was indeed my LAST visit, I was charged $32.. make it make sense. 2. I’ve never had a bad customer experience here… until my most recent visit. (-1 Star). I wish I would have asked the stylist for her name because I would absolutely love to put her on blast. I’m assuming the manager of this place will know exactly who I’m talking about (because literally everyone else who works here is a sweetheart). She was rude when I casually mentioned that the total was 2-3x higher than I’ve ever been charged for this service (at this store). Then she said she couldn’t do anything about it because her manager was on lunch and proceeded to attempt to lie to me about some new policy.. it was a bad attempt by an amateur. It was actually quite laughable (-1 star for trying to deceive). I quietly paid without contest and left feeling like I just got scammed, lol. This was a one off experience for me at this location.. Sadly, it irked me enough to write this review and to find a new shop to spend my money at. Note to that worker: Focus on doing excellent work and providing friendly customer service. Stop focusing on overcharging folks so that your tips increase. And stop lying, you’re really bad at it. Do these four things and you’ll be surprised how generous some of us actually are.

Sports Clips provided a top-tier experience, and Sydrah was a standout. Her friendly nature and excellent communication skills created a welcoming atmosphere. The MVP wash was incredibly soothing, and I received a haircut that perfectly aligned with my desired style. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, and I highly recommend it!
