I’ve been going to Anna at Hair Republic for Vivids for about 3 years now (if not a little longer?) and she has ALWAYS made my hair look perfect! She did my wedding hair color and worked with me for over a year to perfect it, she takes time with her clients consults while providing quick and reliable service! Best hair experience, I will always go to Anna and recommend her to everyone! Worth every penny!!!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience I had with my hairstylist, Anna, at Hair Republic! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. My stylist's professionalism and expertise shone through as we navigated my hair journey together. After struggling with hair loss due to anemia and weight loss, I was feeling quite discouraged about my hair. However, my stylist took the time to listen to my concerns and worked diligently to create a plan that would not only address my hair loss but also enhance my overall look. The color transformation was nothing short of magical! They expertly blended shades that brought my hair back to life, making it look vibrant and healthy. What truly stood out was the kindness and gentleness with which my stylist approached every step of the process. They made sure I was comfortable and informed, explaining each technique, especially when it came to applying extensions. The extensions were applied flawlessly, adding volume and length without compromising the health of my hair. Throughout our time together, my stylist supported my hair through multiple color transitions, including some incredible fashion color work that I received complements for everywhere I went! Each new shade was applied with precision and creativity, showcasing their talent and understanding of color theory. I left Hair Republic feeling like a brand new person, with a hairstyle that perfectly reflected my personality and style. Dani Wyse is absolutely amazing. She was so incredibly nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. A lot of hair dressers can make me feel nervous when I ask a lot of questions, but she made me feel totally okay to ask as many as I needed so I could really feel comfortable with the process. She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before starting and checked in throughout, and explained in detail what she was doing so I knew the process. The end result turned out even better than I imagined! She’s so talented and she made me love my hair again. Definitely book with Dani — your hair will thank you!! 🩷🩷

I’ve been going to Dani for over a year and I have nothing but good experiences! I went to her with 3 years worth of green in my hair wanting to move away from the green & to grow out my length, she was very upfront with me about how she could get me there but it would take time and be a bit of a process due to how long the green had been in. I’ve had so much fun in the process of getting all of the green out and my hair has been healthy the whole way here, if not healthier than prior to seeing her. She never cuts more length off than I ask for && is very conscientious of my needs. She is very attentive, makes sure to clarify what we’re doing prior to our appointment and overall creates a great atmosphere while you’re in the chair. 20 out of 10 recommend! Heather is amazing! I would highly recommend to anyone. She can do a wide variety of styles! She cuts my hair and my teenagers who’s currently struggling with their identity. She makes them feel welcome and seen. She has fabulous "chair-side" manners and knows how to make your kid feel comfortable being them, whatever that is. If you’re looking for a LGBT-friendly or teen-friendly stylist that can do the whole family’s hair, Heather’s your pro.

Had an awesome experience today with Ainsley Swartz at Hair Republic, easily the best long, curly hair specialist in Wilmington. I’m super picky about my hair, but Ainsley completely nailed it. She took the time to teach me about proper hair health, the right brush (the curl-specific Wet Brush), and styling techniques to keep my curls looking natural. She also gave me great product recommendations that actually work. I came back to her after a trim and couldn’t be happier. If you’ve got curly or straight hair and want someone who really knows their stuff, Ainsley’s the one. Highly recommend!

Dani fried my hair and burned my scalp! Left hair dye on my scalp for 3 hours. My scalp burned for a month after. I had to go to the doctor and found out she actually burned my scalp with the hair dye. Haircut was also uneven. I called to get it fixed but they said if I don't want her to do my hair again I would have to pay another stylist because they are all independent and they don't do refunds bad customer service!!!!! I was supposed to get a balayage and ended up with a muddy greenish orange brassy uneven color that is absolutely awful. Attaching pictures of before and after. Hope this helps keep this from happening to someone else.
