Mode Hair Utopia

Highly recommend Mode Hair Utopia for their Head Spa treatments! It felt amazing! You lay down in a quiet, private room and they double shampoo, do a water therapy session, a deep exfoliation, and massage your scalp, neck, hands, shoulders, and arms. Then do a nourishing hair mask and end with a steam treatment and blow dry! Its amazinggggg! And they’re super sweet! Ask for Michelle!

My haircut was fine, but I was not happy that after checkout I was told a higher amount to pay than quoted. I asked how much a haircut was beforehand (in person) and was told 75. No caveats about that to be aware of. When leaving, they charged me 90. I asked why and they said it took longer than expected and the excuse it was my first time. Not my fault it took longer. I would have rather the hair wash took less time to be efficient with the cut. 75 for a haircut is already a lot (then add $15), the money grab to make more doesn't really make a customer want to return. You made extra one time but lost a returning customer here. I can't stand being quoted one price and charged another. In the beginning just let customer know it could be more so they can make the choice. I still tipped because I don't think it was the hairstylists fault but the person at the desk charging which could have been the manager or owner. I've never had a salon do that before. This happened quite a while ago and just now making the review.

As an adult woman who never gets her hair done because I’m on the spectrum. This was the most amazing place to teach me about MY hair!!! I needed my hair done for my wedding is why I went searching for a stylist. Jessica, the curly heart specialist walked me through every bit of the process. Step by step is what I needed and she made me feel so comfortable. I asked 100 questions. She has the patience of a saint. When she washed my hair, she turned the lights down, so it wasn’t overstimulating. She helped me bring my curls back to life. My hair is so healthy and beautiful. I had a good time. I can’t wait to see her again!

I had an appointment for a blowout and an eyebrow wax, and even though I arrived only 15 minutes late, they refused to take me for the blowout. The stylist immediately told me she couldn’t fit me in because she had another customer coming after me and claimed my hair type would take longer In the end, I only got my eyebrows done. The worst part is that I paid $22 just to book the appointment, and I also spent money on transportation to get there, all for nothing. The lack of professionalism and consideration for customers’ time and money is truly unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this salon. There are plenty of places that respect clients and honor their appointments.

I'm always super nervous about getting my hair cut because I've had SO many awful cuts. I was almost immediately at ease once I realized my stylist was wanting to chat about my hair, routine and goals. She was warm and open. She left my hair longer than I asked because she saw how nervous I was, but said we could go shorter if I wanted after she finished. I'll definitely be coming back.

Asked friends for recommendations on someone who does a great cut (because you really only see reviews on who does great color) and made an appointment with Tomas. Best haircut I've had in years!! Such a nice massage during the shampoo, he asked me all about how I care for and wear my hair and tailored the cut to suit my needs and hair type. It's been such a long time since I finished a cut and genuinely thought my hair looked pretty, but he made it happen!! Plus, I'm a very socially anxious/awkward person, but it was so fun chatting with him the whole time.

I had the most amazing Utopia Bliss Facial with Jessica. And after Mimi squeezed me in for an eyebrow tint and hair cut! Thank you guys for the most amazing experience I have had in a salon. The atmosphere you all put out is so welcoming and genuine. Also! Jessica thank you for all the tips to help my hair and my skin! I am definitely going to be working on all the things you talked to me about. I definitely recommend these amazing women for hair and facials!
