AMAZING! I am sure I can speak for a lot of other women of color in Des Moines who have searched high and low for a stylist that is reasonably-priced, punctual, and professional. Shanelle fits the bill and then some! I will be going to her for all of my future hair needs. The silk press she did was phenomenal, and her customer service is top tier.

As someone with natural hair, finding a stylist who understands and embraces my hair texture is crucial, and Shanelle exceeded all my expectations. Not only did they skillfully work with my curls, but they also provided valuable tips for maintaining healthy hair between appointments. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Shanelle has been doing my hair for over 3 years. From relaxed hair, to transitioning hair and now completely natural. She has always done an amazing job. Each time I book I always look forward to seeing her and knowing my hair is going to be slayed. Shanelle is very professional, knowledgeable about natural hair and hair care. I absolutely love going to Shanelle. She’s professional and always makes sure I’m comfortable. Most stylists I’ve been to seem to only have money on their minds so at times I would leave feeling unsatisfied and hustled. I have never experienced that with Shanelle, she takes her time to understand what it is I want and her prices are reasonable. I love that she’s knowledgeable when it comes to hair, especially natural hair. My hair is the healthiest it has been in years. And I owe it all to her 🙂

I absolutely LOVE Shanelle! Trims used to give me anxiety but I've come to trust her and she's always honest with me about what my hair needs! She also colors my hair and it always comes out perfect! Natural hair stylists are hard to find, she does an amazing job!

She keeps her space clean, professional and relaxing. She tells you what is best for your hair but at the end of the day she gives you what you want.
