Kevin Rivera-The Salon

My husband surprised me with a scalp treatment & hair cut. My first reaction going in was "Wow! so clean and organized. Such a well maintained beauty salon. Most salons I’ve been to have their desks very full of everything from prior clients or just in general everything they use on a daily. That was Not the case at Kevin’s salon, it was very clean and cleared for next client, you would think no one worked at the chairs 🙂 it’s Very organized & very welcoming. My appointment was with Leslie, she was amazing! She took her time and made me feel so relaxed, treated me as if I was a regular already. I absolutely will be going back & referring everyone I know 🙂 If you are looking for a new salon but don’t have anywhere to look or feel welcome. This is the place to go! They take very great care of their clients and it’s not an overwhelming salon…the was the best part. You can actually enjoy your appointment with great music & a great conversation.

This was my first experience going for a haircut and I am blown away. I have curly hair and I’ve had my fair share of curly cuts. Kevin’s style and skill left my hair light and healthy without taking away considerable length. From the moment he saw my curls I could tell he knew what he was doing and how to best work with them. The whole experience was incredible and I will definitely be returning!

I’ve had bad experiences in the past with hair coloring so I haven’t done anything to my hair in years. I wanted a refresh and found Vanessa. I am so glad I made the appointment because she worked her magic on my hair! She gave me exactly what I’ve been wanting for years. She’s so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable in her chair. I will most definitely be back, Vanessa will be my only hairdresser!

I’ve been going to Kevin for over a decade and there is no one better than Kevin. He is an expert in his craft and has a high level of integrity in his work. He prides himself on continued education and is always investing in himself and his stylists to learn new skills and techniques to bring to the salon. Kevin also deeply listens to what you want and ensures that your hair not only slays, but is healthy. He has a strong consideration for your hair health and will work with you around how to make you look and feel your most beautiful while not compromising your hair. I regularly get a color and cut with him and also hired him as my hair stylists for my wedding. My wedding look is one I’ll remember forever and I’ve never felt more beautiful thanks to Kevin. Kevin is a one of a kind talent and I will forever trust him with my styling needs!

I’m so lucky I found this place! Long story short- I had hair extensions done at another salon and let’s just say they weren’t done in the best way possible. Vanessa was able to fix them for me and it looked so amazing! Kevin is super knowledgeable and very professional! They both helped me and explained everything along the way! Also their prices are extremely fair. I was impressed! So glad I found my new place!

Kevin did my hair as well as my bridesmaids and other family members’ hair for my wedding. I constantly get compliments on how great my hair looked in our wedding photos. I came to Kevin wanting "vintage waves" which is a style that I found many stylists have not perfected, and he delivered. My hair was absolutely gorgeous, Kevin did the EXACT style that I wanted and even gave me advice on which extensions to get and where I could find the type of hair piece I was looking for. I was also very impressed with my bridesmaids’ hair specifically. Most of them had very long, very thick hair that either didn’t typically stay up or didn’t usually hold a curl for more than 30 minutes. Kevin worked his magic and their hair looked incredible in their updos all.night.long! Kevin was so helpful on the day of the wedding and even made sure to show my maid of honor how to secure and take off my veil so it stayed put and didn’t mess up my hair. He made sure we didn’t run behind schedule and even touched up bridesmaids’ hair before he left. Thank you, Kevin, for making us all feel so beautiful!

I could not be happier! I have struggled finding someone who could work well with my type of hair. I have gone to several people who did fine but I never felt awesome. Tonight I feel awesome. Thank you so much Kevin!
