Great Clips has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 195 reviews on Google
I was more than unhappy with my visit at great clips on grandview and silvernail in Waukesha . I was there over this past weekend and was going to have my already short cut trimmed just at the bottom of my hair so it would curl "under" with a round brush. I was in the chair literally less that 5 mins . There was barely any hair on the ground if any and the stylist still charge me for a full haircut plus tip....if I was on top of it I shouldn't have tipped her!!! $25 with tip ...senior cut less the 5 mins in the chair. She spent less time on me than if I had my bangs cut for $10! I don't think I will go to a great clips and I will tell my family and friends as well about my experience!
Efficient, quick, friendly staff, with decent prices for hair cuts. You can also book a slot online, which allows you to keep a tab on the appointment time. Great that they are also open on Sundays, unlike most of the other salon chains.
I visited this salon around 12:30 PM for a haircut, an experience that quickly became one of the most uncomfortable I've encountered. My stylist was a woman in her mid to late 40s with watercolor tattoos on her arm, including that of a turtle and a flower. Initially, the salon was quiet, with only my stylist and me present. We did very minimal small talk and then we we’re pretty silent for the first 5 to 10 minutes. Other staff members were in a back room, their conversations faint and unremarkable. However, as more clients arrived and were promptly attended to by other stylists, my stylist's behavior took a sharp turn. She began to loudly and unprofessionally complain about her coworkers, covering a range of grievances. These included claims of unfair work schedules (specifically about someone having Thursdays off), dissatisfaction with the pace of her colleagues' work (asserting she could complete three haircuts in the time it took them to do one), and cynical remarks about family emergencies, questioning their validity and offering her own skewed definitions of what constitutes an emergency. She also launched into a tirade against the "younger generation" (of which I am clearly a part), generalizing about our supposed lack of work ethic and laziness. The complaints even extended to a person she knew, criticizing their generosity in allowing their son and his family to live with them while saving for a house, and specifically attacking the pregnant wife's water usage with exaggerated claims of "9 loads of laundry and 4 baths a day." This constant stream of negativity was not only unprofessional but also deeply uncomfortable. To compound the issue, amidst her complaints, my stylist continued to haphazardly cut my hair, leaving me with a final result that is… something. Haven’t fully emotionally processed this one yet. I very much feel for the younger ladies that have to work with this individual every day; I hope they're able to brush off her negativity and continue doing what they need to do. I won't be returning to this location unless I can book with one of them in the future.
This location has the best service and the best haircuts. My boys and I always leave looking good.
Great people and have been going there for many years! Haircut prices are getting out of hand and buying discount card is not worth it either!
Very nice and listened to what my son was interested in and did a great job copying his requested style.
Very, very happy with my stylist. I had gotten a terrible haicut at a different location & this stylist was so nice & helped me out.
