1 year later and my hair is still so stringy and stretchy . Went in for a blowout for an event . With natural 3c hair , my hair is waves now and it feel so dry with many deep conditioning I give. I do see my roots and a good amount is starting to grow back I can’t wait to be able to cut this damaged hair. Please don’t make the mistake to go to these overpriced people that secretly perm your hair . Cause that’s exactly what Happened. Thank to you " Josefina style " I will never be able to trust another single person on my hair unless I’m paying thousands because of you . In all honesty , you guys ruined my self love . My hair and skin is everything to me.

My hair looked and felt amazing! Love the mom & daughter duo. The salon is super cute and had all good vibes. You can tell that they try to take care of your hair like using enough heat protection, gently untangling it and not overheating the blower or dryer. 10/10 will definitely be back 🌸🩷

I DONT WANT TO EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR ! I went in for what was supposed to be a simple trim and bleach, and this was honestly one of the most heartbreaking hair experiences I’ve ever had. I’m sharing this so others can be aware and decide for themselves before booking. From the start, the service felt very inconsistent. The stylist was friendly at moments, but she kept getting distracted, taking on other clients, and repeatedly stepping away. I was left with bleach on my hair for over an hour, and then forgotten again for another stretch of time — in total, far longer than what is normally considered safe. The whole time I kept trying to calm myself down and stay patient, hoping everything would turn out okay. When the process was finally done and I saw the result, my heart dropped. I wanted to cry right there, but instead I put on a smile and walked out because hair is something I take seriously — it’s tied to my confidence and identity. The final result was almost $300, and what I was left with was choppy, uneven ends, split ends, and bleach so harsh that some parts of my hair look nearly white or even transparent. It took me years to grow my hair out and get it healthy again — two full years of care, patience, and finally feeling like myself. Having that undone in one appointment was honestly devastating. Now my hair tangles instantly unless it’s drenched in watery conditioner, and it’s extremely fragile. I’ve been really emotional about it because I worked so hard to repair my hair, got it to a flawless place, and now I feel like I’m starting over from the worst point. I’m not saying this to attack anyone — I’m saying it so others can make an informed choice. If your hair is something that gives you strength or confidence, please think twice before booking here. This experience truly broke my heart, and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing. Hair grows back, yes… but the disappointment after years of progress being reversed is real. Please be careful, ladies. ***Forgot to mention my hair had healthy curls , super healthy , I didn’t dye or put any heat for two years , my hair was ready for bleach . - also make sure they don’t perm cause my curls disappear I wouldn’t be surprised if she used perm without my permission!

When coloring my hair for the first time, I wanted to go lighter and we had a great consult on how the process was going to be. After getting the wash, she says that the roots will look the same as the rest of the hair after the toner. Then, after the Hair Dryer I say the roots are way too light and she says it looks like that when it’s wet. She gives me a blowout and I pay and leave. I was not happy with it but I wait for the next appointment (I do my hair once a week) and when I come back and explain I still don’t like it since it’s way too light on top compared to the rest of the hair, she then proceed to get ready to color match; I mentioned that this should be a fix of the roots since is way too noticeable how different it is from the rest of the hair, but I’m happy with the color she put on and I understand I can’t get the hair lighter without bleach. When I asked her if since I’m guessing since it’s getting fixed there should be no additional charge, considering I had told her this previously she then got very heated and stated I had ill intentions and wanted to take advantage of her business, she yelled at me, took my stuff and asked me to leave, her daughter had to intervene I didn’t know If she wanted to hit me or something. This is my first time having an experience like this, I’m very disappointed because I had trusted her with my hair and we had built rapport with each other and it was extremely baffling that she just reacted so unprofessionally and so rudely instead of talking to me. Very rude, will not recommend or come back. To respond to the business: I was never rude to you or implied I wasn’t going to pay, I asked a question and you immediately reacted like I was trying to take advantage of you…I’m not sure what kind of experience you’ve had in the past but I am a very understanding and honest person. Moreover, I wouldn’t even had the payment discussion BEFORE you started had I wanted to take advantage of you. I was in your business on Sep 8th, I’ve also been in your salon many times with no issues and have always paid you. I didn’t wait "3 weeks" I came back as soon as I could considering I also have my own life and couldn’t accommodate a visit sooner; which either way you as you remarked, have cameras, and there’s evidence that I told you in the moment I did not like how different it looks and would try to get used to it, and I couldn’t, hence why I came back to you. I asked everything to look uniform, I did wanted my hair lighter and you said we would see how much I can lighten up without bleach, since you didn’t recommend it; which I appreciate. I’m not sure why this whole thing blew out of proportion, I wasn’t asking you to re-do all your work or demanding anything crazy, you could have told me you didn’t want to color it again, we would’ve moved on and I would have left without being so mistreated, no one wants a hairdresser to touch their hair unwilling, or I could’ve just got my hair washed and that’s it. There was no reason for you to yell at me and act aggressively and raise your temper because I told you I didn’t like it. I’m truly sorry this is how you conduct yourself, I hope you find peace in everything that’s troubling you, it will serve you well to listen to what someone is telling you without making assumptions that they just want to rip you off. It’s truly heartbreaking since you seem to know a lot about hair and that’s why I trusted you with my first time coloring it. I will no longer respond to you, I hope your mean girl behavior was empowering but I can assure you kindness goes a lot further.

The best place to go in Waterbury Josefina and her daughter Yami are both very professional and caring. The place feels very relaxing and peaceful as They help you look beautiful ♥️

I looked like a clown. Had to pay someone else to fix the disaster that was done on my hair. Worst experience of my life. Never again. Be careful of what they say that they can do.

She charged way to much for my daughter to get hightlights so we just got a two hair cuts a and hair product she said it’s was $175 for everything and charged my card 186 after I gave her a ten dollar tip watch out for this lady she will Robb u blind smh
