Capybara Hair Lounge

This is a very belated review! I'm normally very hesitant to visit the salon, but I had an amazing experience at Capybara Hair Lounge with Evette! She was very attentive and made sure to discuss with me before the cut to make sure we were both on the same page. I had a few more ideas during my consultation and Evette flawlessly integrated them into the final cut-- her experience definitely shines through while discussing hair! The service was thorough and very professional, and I was comfortable every step of the way. Evette is very friendly and is happy to offer advice on how to style and care for your hair. My result was everything I wanted and more! When I'm back in town I'll definitely be making another visit! <3

I've gotten hair extensions done at another place before, and Evette at Capybara Hair Lounge put way more care into my hair than they did, it kind of almost upset me that I hadn't been to Capybara sooner!! Evette and I did a full day appointment, but even towards the last final hours of working all day, she didn't rush or skip steps and put the same amount of attention to smaller details that the other place I went to did not. Evette really knows about color and maintaining healthy hair. It was a pleasure to be a client here. This is the best place for alternative hair, and the environment of the salon is fun!

As a SAHM of 3 I never get my hair done and on a whim decided why not... I regret NOTHING!! Not only did Kim take her time and make me feel welcome and comfortable. But my hair is amazing, I felt like a new woman walking out of there. I never have a clue as to what I want and they helped me find a style that fit me and that I loved. Bonus points... I got a few hours to enjoy reading my kindle which she was really respectful and cool with me doing.

So happy I found my place here at Capybara! An alternative hair lounge in WC, laid back, easy going vibes, professional and knowledgeable beauties. I had the pleasure of being graced by Katya’s craft and satisfied is an understatement. She rocked my transformation, calico pixie mullet of sorts. The talent radiates at this lounge. I booked an appointment with Rachel and expressed that I was wanting a new style. I have very curly hair and I needed her to help me make a decision on whether to temporarily blow it out or permanently straighten it. She suggested I put a keratin treatment on it and she blew it out and flat ironed it with gentle care and touch. Rachel is very present this is important to me as she is very tuned in to the outcome. My hair looks great and it makes me feel younger. I’m 49 old lol. Thanks Rachel!

For almost a year, I hadn't gotten a proper haircut, as I wasn't willing to trust anyone new with my hair, so I was nervous before coming here. However, from the moment I walked in for my appointment, my experience was wonderful! Everyone is so nice, and the stylists know exactly what they're doing. My hair was done by Peezy, a kind and incredible stylist. The end results were gorgeous! Best haircut I've ever gotten. I would highly recommend coming here!

Brittany Lee is just absolutely talented, personable, and amazing at what she does. She makes the environment very welcoming and comfortable. My hair looks amazing! I got a partial high light, black underneath, and did a pop of pink! Every visit with her is unique and fun. She's slays the layers and my bangs every time! Thanks for the amazing barbie hair. Will continue to book with her! Highly recommend her!
